Just started Trilby's Notes of the Chzo mythos series, and it's already creepin' me out a little.

That post finally got me to up and download TOME. DB-T is fun! I find it awesome that the designer, while not really knowing anything about the series at the beginning, has nailed the characters *perfectly*.  Also, not getting any of the DBZ iconic stuff until very late game (and energy attacks are still out, unless I missed them in any of the spoilers I read) struck me as being far closer to the source (most DBZ characters are pretty much epic by the start of DBZ. Probably triple or more by the end.) than any of the official DB games out there.

I've been playing around with it in Wizard mode for a while, any tips for somebody new to both TOME in general and this mod in particular? Note: I like melee fighters, since barehanded has been a goodway to get myself nuked early on.

Not to bump my old thread, but I finished "Guardian of Paradise", a downloadable zelda-like that is quite a fun but short play.

It is a very good game, it looks good, it plays good, it sounds good. Probably my only problem with it is that it's a very easy game.

I only died once, and that was in the beginning when i was still figuring out the basics. Almost everything in the game seems like it's centered around not frustrating the player. Health is VERY plentiful, Health power ups are also pretty frequent, and health restoring items heal health based on percentages, either 10%, 30%, or 50%. Bosses are not only easy to figure out, but every single boss room except one can be escaped from so you can abandon the fight to restore your health and MP if you feel your gonna lose.

I'd recommend it though, it's a nice way to burn an afternoon.

Wow, thats quite a repertoire.

I also just recently played through all 4 Installments of the Defoe Quadrilogy in the last couple days. BY FAR, some of the best adventure games i've ever played.

They were made by Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw, of Zero Punctuation fame, and can be downloaded at his website Ramblomatic.com

I seriously recommend it.

IWBTG (I Wanna Be The Guy) for those that don't know, is a seriously hard game. It uses alot of cheap/clever tricks to kill you over and over and over. It is meant to be a parody of Nintendo hard games, which it succeeds in doing amazingly. It is hard, but also hilarious and addicting at the same time.

I've talked to it's creator before on a different forum. He's a really cool guy.

I'd seriously recommend downloading it to anyone that has never played it before, if only to experience playing it.
