Ah, yes. I saw that. I think greengus is more like the cursor than Mainscreenus there.

He's not exactly done, yet (he won't be red after the firing) but right now he does look like most kobolds 30 seconds after they've been spotted. I'm also not sure if he's how the Adams Bros. picture them, but he's exactly what I think of.

Hm...I know that we are talking about a fantasy race, but kobolds are "supposed to be" small humanoid creatures. This little one looks like a...I dunno what. Perhaps a rabbit-pig-something genetical crossbreed. ;D

I guess the nose could have been smaller and shorter. He's got hands, though, and no tail. I could imagine him throwing Puss Beetles at adventurers.

I kinda like the "mouselike" idea. They aren't Mouse-men, kinda more like creatures with some mouselike traits.

Um, yeah. I agree.
My point was that Koji had some interesting thoughts. It seems to "fit" Kobolds that they would have short lifespans and high activity levels.

Well, I thought you've spoken of their appearance. Yeah, the kobolds are opposite to goblins regarding their lifespan. They can be counted as mice as well as ants or roaches, any pests will do (expect for the roaches since the kobolds are not that tough).

For some reason I have grown partial to the /tg/ cutebolds. This and I realized that kobalds can be draconic yet still have feathers or the fur I always imagined them having (I was first exposed to them through Angband's older DnD inspired "small doglike humanoids") Many non-western dragons have fur or feathers instead of scales so I can assume the same is true of lesser cousins.

According to the raws, DF kobolds have no tails. Stop imagining them with tails people.  ;)
