The way I see it is there are two possibilities, the werewolves are chosen randomly, or they are chosen with pattern or order. If he used some kind of order, he wouldn't suspect us of thinking that, and would choose an obvious logical pattern as noone would check that anyway.

The two most obvious are first three on the list, or once every six players (assuming three werewolves).

I disagree. It is usually never the first person on the list nor the last person. That would be obvious. And I think there are only 1 or 2 werewolves, since I believe we're playing Infectious (I was confused too, he said two more posts but that included the people with jobs. Sometimes you just gotta feel excluded...). So... it leaves us with a few less.
