For flavor reasons, I am against renaming Interrogation to Brainwashing because it implies Agents, Police Gang Units, and Military Veterans also engage in Brainwashing people to accept Conservativism, instead of merely Mind Controling them...and only Liberals get to clean brains.

Wouldn't it be better to just call the skill "Interrogate"?

Most of us seem to be in favour of psychology so far, though this is not a Conservative Democracy, but a Liberal Commune ruled by the Flower Scented Fist of Jonathan S. Fox. His rule is Liberal Law.

Improv Weapons - Soup canning

That makes no sense to me but still seems subtly hilarious. Explanation?

Probably not that hillarious to anyone but me, but in one game my character went into a supermarket while it was being robbed. He was entirely without a gun so I needed something from the shop that could do a lot of damage.

So my character picked up a can of soup and beated the person over the head.

I am sorry it isn't that funny

Hense why I often call Improvised weaponry: Soup Canning

In IVAN if you throw a empty can at an enemy, it will become a Can of the enemies Flesh. Go with that if you want something a bit more funny

I've played some mafia.

Most of the time when someone is described as politically correct they are simply correct.

I don't like the name psychology.  I think something a little more sinister sounding like Mind Games or Torture is fitting.  It's based around stockholm syndrome which requires a rather traumatic experience.

3 letters too long:
Sleight of Hand

Wull, duh. Ledgermain Legerdemain1, obviously!

(Why take something simple and generally related when you can take something obtuse and synonymous?)

1 letter too long:
Interrogation

I could see Psychology or Torture. There's a terrible part of me that wants to see both, Torture replacing Interrogation, and Psych providing a bonus to the actual convincing part of brainwashing, plus other stuff like maybe seducution (you are messing with them 'til they're your love slave), law cases, and... um... expanding sleeper network for sleepers? Maybe also a fractional bonus for resisting ratting out the LCS too? (The latter could be nicely expanded to include resisting rehabilitation if we ever get highly liberal prisons trying to "fix" LCS prisoners...)

(Yes, yes, yes... my mantra is "Overcomplicate!")

1: Bah. EqD and their lack of respect for Liberal spelling2...
2: Well, that, and bah, Firefox and its spellcheck addon's overly Conservative guesses about what word I was butchering...

Psychology seems good to me. It could pave the way for a Psychologist NPC that can be recruited.
