World Gen Suggestion: Civ Alliances/Merging
« on: November 29, 2008, 01:48:54 am »

Relatively simple; civs of the same race can ally and later merge if they are in peaceful contact for long enough. Would help greatly for when you have overlapping hostile races and only one attacks.

Diplomacy Arc, eh, I like alliances and cultural/military/blah merging.

Especially POWs taking your life style.
Merging allies, peace treaties, trade treaties, Schema Pumpkin Treaties, Pang Nectar, Jocose Honey, dot dot dot.

Yep, I am pretty sure that worldgen alliances will be a reality, after the diplo arc will be implemented. [...and of course "real time" -> IE. fortress mode alliances between 2 AI civs will also happen.]
...and more! Vassalization, force other civs to pay tribute, ask other civs to attack other civs etc. [The civ 4. BtS diplo system was awesome....if we could have diplo options like that...that would be epic!  8)]
