Weird Civilizations?
« on: November 28, 2008, 12:19:52 pm »

After version .39 was released, I generated a few maps. However of them was particularly interesting. The king of the dwarfs... is a goblin, as well as liason and other officials :o. I've taken a long break from DF, but I came back to play it and I'm really close to getting the him to come to my fort. Also the Human traders and the elven traders are at war with each other. ;)

So have any similar weirdness happenings?

once i had a demon being a member (not anything particuliar just a member) of dwarfen civ, however when i asked him about his profession he still said he is the leader of his ancien goblin civ (he had been actualy a survivor of the final battle when dwarfs toke over, so he become a member for them ...)

Simon says give us parameters.

Here
Created in DF v0.28.181.39c.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
BTW when the Gobbo king came, it was buggy. First of all, instead of the standard
"Noble" job he was... "tame". Next, I can't assign him any rooms. I can, however, assign him and his advisor (who's also a goblin) to cages. Finally, I checked his profile and he lacks the standard "likes x and x and cows for their haunting moos" etc.

Hmm... This sounds familiar... This has happened before, right?

Oh and, thanks alot for the parameters, I will enjoy tortu experimenting with the king.

Well, these "weird" things are happening because of the updated worldgen process. Things like these are quite common now.  :)
