A thought of a challenge for Adventure mode:

"You have died of old age."

Not difficult with modding, but the thought amused me.

On an unrelated note, if you make a fort over the town where your adventurer retired, will they show up there? Bonus points for being decked out in adamantine equipment and totally overshadowing your military.

Yes, they do show up there. I had an adventurer retire in a town where he was only one of three people still living there. I set up a fortress in an attempt to RP the recolonization of the town. They kept us very well protected.

Suprisingly, I havn't tried overlapping yet... I think I'll go do that.

With three humans (maximum), run-.ooooh!

You could set the max population to 3, or something, and then overlap a town and pretend you just moved there :3. Pretty cool...

That, or build a fortress as a small town, retire a few adventurers there, and then reclaim it to revamp it into a fortress.
