Draining ponds and distinguishing between inside/outside
« on: November 27, 2008, 01:26:19 pm »

I'm not sure if this a bug ot not . . . so I'll post it here:

When draining ponds, the resulting terrain where the water was is murky pool, inside, and light. Shouldn't it be outside?

For that matter, shouldn't distinctions between inside and outside be moot until Toady impliments effects like mirrors (to deflect light) and light sources like torches?

Wait, does this mean we can build beds on drained out murky pools?  Even if they're really outside?

How did you 'drain' the pool? I just channeled out a wall out of the pool and the mud floor is considered outside.

I channeled out a path from the pool to the nearest downramp leading to the next lower elevation.
