Journal of Urist McDogtrousers, Lord of the house of dog.


17th of slate, 1051, midspring.

Ach!We've arrived at the mountain, me an' the rest of the clan left the mountain homes becasue the Genocide of 100s of puppies is now frowned upon by the new ruler, so we left with all our dwarves to a new fortress, so far things are going great we dug stright into the mounatin and made 6 indavidual rooms for workshops which were soon filled with the following workshops:
1 Butcher's WS
1 Tanner's WS
1 leatherworker's WS
1 Craftsdwarf's WS
1 Mason's WS
1 Carpentar's WS
And a kennel outside
We then dug out some storerooms. At the moment out miner is digging out the remainder of our rooms, a few are finished and furnished with beds.
We slaughtered the first dog, its bones were immediatly made into trinkets, its skull quickly became a totem. The tanner turned his skin into leather and then the leatherworker made some leather trousers for me, He told me that i might as well live up to my name, Well it was very nice of him. Anywho each of us now has a gaurd dog now, they should keep us safe for now.
