That is a modded game for sure. I suppose the LITTERSIZE of the goblins must be quite high.  :)
Either way, this looks like a good method to test the CPU of our PCs [FPS test].... ;D

Legendary Lands.  Did it have to be vanilla?

good point. no mods. anyway just seeing 1 section of a tower isnt enough proof so if you want a legendary record, provide legendary proof lol

also plz type what record you are going for from now on

Haha yeah, it's kinda pointless to post records if you have a modded game...I guess.  :)

Yes. 335 dwarves is a bitch to keep track off.

And I pray for the ability to cage childrens...

And the 42 farmers? Yeah, I try and gain independence from traders as much as possible. I currently import, usually, four fucktons of food and booze from the caravans.

((I modified the max pop cap in the init files because I wanted to try and see how big a fort I could manage...Never again...))

EDIT: Changing the pop cap in the init files... does that counts as modding? If it does, well shite.

It depends. Raising the pop cap to break the record on how many dwarves you can have is perfectly valid. To do so when your goal is to kill off as many dwarves in one swipe, is valid. Biggest tantrum spiral? Valid.

I was aiming for the largest population record...but now that you mention the largest tantrum spiral...

...

This is going to require a tower. A big tower. And bridges. And milk.

changing the pop cap limit is perfectly valid, as it still requires the same work to maintian and get to that point. stuff like increasing dwarven birth rate is not allowed

Actually, I tried decreasing it, but didn't really see any diffrence since the bastards squirted out 7 babies in a row so I figured I might as well change it back to how it used to be.

How about some records for dealing with Megabeasts? Like least number of dwarves used to take down a Dragon/Hydra/Etc...

At one point I had a Dragon blow itself to bits (literally chunked) by breathing fire on a dwarf in a trade depot full of booze. I don't know if that counts though since that was kinda dragon suicide through stupidity.

I think Captain Mayday may take that one with Cap'n Ironblood.
