Dark Messiah of Might and Magic also comes to mind in that respect...  And it can't be modded, so it's a double-doomed and thrice-damned game.

Pity.  It had so much potential, too.

Two Worlds looked cool, and the multiplayer was unique, I would've gotten it but I forgot my driver's license and I guess I don't look 17, so I got NWN2 instead.  I have a strong feeling this was divine intervention, I read terrible reviews about Two Worlds.

I don't know... various sites seem to give Two Worlds 7 or 8 out of 10 (with a few exceptions in both directions).
Mobygames (which is what I read when a game I haven't heard of pops up in online conversation) users give it 4.4/5 which I guess is a 9, so I'm pretty sure it's an ok game.

P.S. judging from Fox's (wait... is that your real name, John?) comment, he cannot see my photoshopped* screenshot of conservative hunter squad. does anyone else have this problem?

Actually, I didn't code these for the purpose of making that screenshot. I just edited the save to change the date, and now all the weapons are high-tech. Thus the significance of 4088.

Master of Magic is absolutely awesome.

What makes it even MORE awesome is that the difficulty is totally based on your play style.  There are some ABSOLUTELY SUPER CHEAP combos that you can make, but the game's quite playable without doing that.  Still, modding DF reminds me a lot of Master of Magic, like when your starting race is dragons or trolls or something else horribly abusive.      (And then loads of white magic and warlord on top of that...)

I want a remake.    

Also, because someone brought up Planescape: Torment, before:

...I never actually beat that game.  Maybe I should go back and do that during my brief dance with unemployment, instead of making myself useful and hiking or otherwise working out.  Hmmm.

How exactly did society fail for you? you can thank humanity that you can sit right there, and have your furry-lifestyle about which you can post on the internet. You don't need to be out there to scavenge for food only to maybe get killed by some antisocial lunatic "just because". Even if said lunatics are still out there, regardless of society, there are dedicated people which only job it is to make sure that you don't get killed, that your property is respected, that you are free to move and free to only care about the next computer game/movie/whatever and that you can say what you like when you like, even if it's incredibly stupid.

Society didn't fail, especially not for you. It even works so good that you don't even notice that it's hard work for quite a few people to keep society up and running so that you may complain freely about people making fun of you without getting outright brutalized "just because". You may even make fun of them without serious repercussions. This is really a huge luxury. Many people don't share that luxury and die everyday because of it. Society failed for them, not for you.

I might suggest we stop the pointless arguing at the moment. This is simplified. Furries like to be furries, you don't like to be a furry, or obviously don't like them as people (to the furry haters), but, it ends there. I'm not a furry, I don't fully understand them, but I do have furry friends. They don't try to make me a furry, and I don't try making them non-furries, thats where it should end. Period.

Very much like any other sexual preference, or kink, or whatever. As long as they don't force it on me, and I don't force my beliefs onto them, then we're cool.
