Well, a 6 does mean you succeeded but something definitely bad happens as a result anyway.

Not necessarily. It means you over shot what you were originally planning.

"You achieved what you tried to achieve, but you made it worse by doing so in the most inhumanely overpowerful way possible. Casualties are inevitable."

I think having been a beggar is as close as we can get for remembering something without a brain hemorrhage.

fine. I go and grab some food

(killing a horde of goblins juts took one turn...finding food in a kitchen so far has not succeeded in 3....)

Sorry for the lateness, I was screaming at my fail character in NWN 2. Stupid ranger...

Have some rolls.

Webadict: (2 (The dice somehow hate you)) You are too busy daydreaming to look for water. Thats crazy I know, but suck it up. Like you did to your water supplies.

Nirur Torir: (5 (on the other hand, the dice LOVE Nirur)) You pray and a benolevant god of life and health hears you. "You seek healing for your friends, and I will grant it. Worship me, Levia, and you will gain more than just the power to heal yourself and others." The wounds on EVERYONE then dissapear. Including the scars on the goblin. Nice work.

Pandarsenic: (4) You do indeed find a source of water! It is in the form of 3 turns of water in the torture room. the torturer must have been feeling thirsty.

Cheeetar: (1) You enrage the goblin and he decides (3) to spit on you in anger! (2) It hits you on the face. Yuck. You wipe it off with the back of your hand.

Akroma: (4) You look in some of the boxes in the storeroom and find 5 turns of dried food in them.

Banzayatc: (1) You try to shapeshift but instead make yourself weaker! (-1 to actions involving strength) (4) You immediately stop before it becomes worse.

(3) The goblin fumes in a corner.

Oh, spit on me will you?
I break the goblins neck and use him as a bodyshield.
Unless someone else has a use for him.

I discuss with the goblin my favourite methods of killing elves, hoping to bond with him over a similar love of killing tree huggers.

A shield against what? Do you really want to haul a rotting corpse everywhere?

But I wouldn't put it past anyone on these forums. DF sideffect. :)

For some reason, I have the hardest time getting people to play Risk with me. ???

Cheeetar, If the goblin is on our side, we will probably have an easier time getting past his friends.
Zako, do I have any sort of healing skill now, or do I have to pray more to get any real bonus?

For my action, I help Akroma.
