A lot of funny things happen to us. When I saw this thread name I thought that you were going to suggest some change to the existing one.

I don't think a sharkman should be [MUNDANE].  ;)

I'd also get rid of their legs, but leave their arms.

While you guys are doing sea life, someone come up with some octopuses. I like the idea of something that attacks not by punching, but by pulling things apart.
