With the addition of beards, does this mean we can make beard-men?

Wait... we already have those, they're called Dwarves!

I suppose an asbestos golem would be able to counter a dwarf lung men invasion. Slowly.

Or better yet, a chlorine golem.

It would be an effective way to get rid of pesky humans.

Wow, I don't even read Order of the Stick.  What a very bizarre coincidence.

Order of the Stick was pretty funny, but then I read part of his blog where he said he didn't think of it as a gaming parody comic anymore, but as a story, and he was more worried about developing his characters and plot than D&D-related humor, and I immediately lost all interest in it.

Hey, the story is pretty interesting... or it was, until the strip hit Dialog Hell and every page was so bogged down in text it was painful to read.  That's where I stopped and haven't regained the initiative to plow through it again.

Anyway, topic relevant, there's only so many ways you can picture a monster made from odd/mundane objects until it starts losing its inherent humor.  But Dwarf Lung Men are going in my game, and they are going to have very borgly borgles.

Perhaps spirits of fire will be able to actually be made of fire.

Perhaps spirits of fire will be able to actually be made of fire.

I don't even think Toady has set materials up so that they will consistantly push towards a certain temperature or for creatures to force a certain internal (or part specific) temperature.

So even making him made out of fire would be somewhat pointless.

Of course I don't mod so I am fully prepared to be wrong if not expecting to be.  ???
