Dammit, I'm dead again...  And now I'm also out of food.

I don't know if I'm going to get all that interested in this game.  The constant increase of zombie density, and their ability to come straight from the "safe zone" kinda pisses me off (not to mention getting me killed).

I just learned that you get money from searching, but not from searching right next to the outpost.

I went three areas away, and starting finding all kinds of crap.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the cosmos. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips, I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my veins. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk and free throw.

I think buildings give you a better chance at a good search as well.

Gah. It keeps loading to 100%, then getting stuck. Maybe I'll try a different browser. I'm running Firefox 3 beta 5 on Ubuntu 8.04, so I'll try something else.

Okay, I got it to load... Yay. Now I need to figure out how to get a decent weapon and not die.

If I go farther away than FIFTEEN FEET from the outpost, I'm as good as dead.  I can't live long enough to find good searching spots.

In other news, I just posted an ad for Mike's Stitchery (my character's name is Michael Camden), where I'm charging five bucks for lvl 3 engineer skills...  Quite frankly, the current setup they have for listing services is rather poor.  I'm hoping I can get at least one customer, as I'm running out of cash fast, since I decided it would be a good idea to patch myself up and get some food.

EDIT:  And it's gonna run out even faster.  I'm now starving, and I don't have any food left.

EDIT2:  Hey now, turns out a few people hired my services...  Cool.  I've now got more cash to spend on beer and chips to save my life.

EDIT3:  In fact, I just made 70 bucks.  Neato.

EDIT*<OVERLOAD>*:  Okey-dokey...   I'm getting enough cash to get by on cheap beer and chips for now, as well as being able to buy a snazzy new hunting knife.  I've also leveled up to the prestigious level four, which has made my advertisement obsolete.  Anybody know if/how you can edit posts?  I didn't see any outstanding "edit post" button...

I also seem to have a repeat customer...  Someone by the name of "froster" has bought my services about six times now.  I guess he's really wearing through them suits in a hurry.  This makes me slightly more comfortable when I think about how stable my position on the market is going to be.  I've seen some other folks who are about three times my current level charging for the same price, so I intend to win customers by virtue of humorous bumps.

Yeah this game is hard on newbs-but once you get past a pen knife things get easier. You just gotta take your lumps lol-on another note, try to get a flak jacket asap-itll cost you $400-$500 but will save your life.
And there is no edit post button-really stupid

This game is a joke on the 'multiplayer'
Everyone you see on screen are bots, mimicking your movements when in close proximity, sure they are real people's characters but they are a complete sham in gameplay, not much there but to increase your survivability and steal kills.

Are you serious?

I have to see.

EDIT:  They sell items for real money.  I never play games that sell items for real money.

I have a freakin' hunting knife.  Oh, and a bag of potato chips.  That's it.  I don't even have the money to buy better equipment right now (I've only got sixty bucks).

I got a level recently so I'm patched up and no  longer hungry, and I also posted a very special bump in my service topic so I can hopefully attract a few more customers.  Unfortunately, I've go a lot of similarly-priced competition, and I can't change the topic title to show that I am now level five instead of three.

EDIT:  Make that twenty bucks and level six.  I got hit a few times when I was zombie hunting, and had to get medical attention.  Luckily, I can get full health with fifteen bucks (10$ sterilized strips, 5$ doctor services).

EDIT2:  Okay, the message spam for having your services hired is getting to be pretty lame...   Okay, so I haven't had to deal with it for a while since I haven't had any customers, but it was really annoying when it was there.

At least I managed to turn off the email notification for new personal messages.  I had twenty-six emails in my register-for-everything account.

Nah, I've got about 300 now.  400 if I can sell that hunting knife of mine (found a mastercrafted one, so I'm selling my old one).

That's because my username is "Gruzil"...  I didn't know it was actually going to show up on the forums like that, and I can't change it now.  If you ever think these forums aren't all that well put-together, just take a peek over at the Dead Frontier...

I suppose it makes sense that infrastructure goes down the tubes with a zombie invasion, but really...

EDIT:  Okay, so I've only got 200 bucks.  If I sell this knife and a few of these sterile pads, I'll have enough to buy a very cheap flak jacket.  Unfortunately, I've only ever seen one going for that price, and I think he sold it already.
