I can only assume that the above post is joking, but doors appear to be different and you can see two spaces out instead of one. Yay me.
Moving on, I like it. Means you have to bring up the map less to remind yourself how to make the hastiest retreat.

It says alienated masses but conservatives are attacking, so it must be Level 1: Conservatives Alarmed (or something similar).

Also, the minimap is extremely different.

It's just the minimap. ;) And let me tell you, for me, being able to see 177% more of the map at once is awesome.

Regarding the other theories:

- Founder names and site names that draw on people's names are both completely random and draw on the same pool of names.

- 'Alienated masses' is actually a degree of alarm above conservatives being alarmed; it means that all moderates will spawn as conservatives as well, and also proceed to attack you. Alienated everyone would be the next step up of badness, and it would spawn EVERYONE as hostile conservatives, even to the point of spawning ex-union workers and jaded liberal judges in place of their usual liberal counterparts.
