So now we got awesome steel armour, AND a fort fire?

Wow, you sure do know the best gifts. Whats next, a Mega Beast arena, pitting three Dragons and a Hydra fighting each other...with the Military in the Cross Fire?! That would be awesome. *Idea* I think I have some inspiration for that there arena I'm constructing.

Out of curiosity, who is currently in the military? I've been drawing up plans for murdering the elven caravan... uh... a game of poker... yeah... and I was looking at how many people we had to uhh... play... poker...

We currently have 6 military dwarves. We are getting them to high rank as soon as possible.

The camel meat rotted away unfortunately. So no more eternal fire, unless somthing that doesnt take damage from fire or age starts up.

Shoruke: I will try to find such a dwarf, but the relationships are still a bit hard to find. We are, after all, only in our 3rd year, and most of these dwarves have come in recently and have been working. Not much time for chatter.

Out of curiosity, where did Don, your weaponsmith and armorsmith go?

Don,that wacky character made for us a warhammer, and has been assisting with mining, planting, threshing, and going wherever he's needed. He's an omnidwarf now, one of the backbones of the society. Amon does the normal metalsmithing, Don is doing the Armor and Weapon smithing, and as soon as we get some coal for steel they will both be very, very busy! I only bought what I bought because we can't produce it yet. Once we are producing I expect to see masterpiece armor and weapons on all military.

And then you will get bored when you realised that the 'expected' 200 Goblin sieges wont be arriveing, you try to mix things up, and rather then 'just' kill your military, unleash destruction upon your entire fortress.

27th of Timber, Year 11, Hamlet Waspurn;

Tragedy struck again today, this time a sparring accident left Kornash brutally slaughtered. During time off from his duty Gaweir decided to spar with Kornash. The swordsmen clashed and after only a few blows Kornash's head had been sliced open. He did not survive long after that. Sadly Kornash had on one of the inferior helms as opposed to the steel helms available. Why? We may never know. More disturbing than anything perhaps, was Gaweir's response to the news that Kornash did not make it. He smiled. He took delight in the slaughter of a fellow dwarf! Truly disturbing news.

Woooo... go Apple, soon you will be beating criminals like there is no tomorrow. On a side note is it possible to give Apple a weapon (preferably a mace) and to give him a few fortress guards to command (also wielding maces if possible)? Also could you recruit Apple into the actual guard (by going to his profile page) as well as being captain? Apple needs some sparring practice to maximize his criminal beating capacity.
