But they're dwarves and don't really care about burning.

I haven't gotten to the aboveground plants yet, so no. I intend this to be a complete replacement and I need some aboveground ones first. Otherwise the game might crash.

Hmm, there were some mods before, you can get some stuff from there too... or not, and make your own mod.
How do you come up with the ideas? Do you randomly put some stuff from your head or do you have some system/motives?

For now it looks like you've started to work in trying to make plants in groups and to make those groups wide enough for plants to vary... The original DF provides not so many plants and you can't say about their form (well, plump helmet is an exclusion which proves the rule) and with this mod we're gonna have some "imaginable" plants (mosses, caps etc.).

This mod can work nicely with the mod I'm going to make (a plant mod too, it doesn't require DF for now to test because I can't install DF at work :().

I'll be making stuff like more mushrooms and moss for the underground plants, plus some more exotic types.

Aboveground will eventually include at least:

---Flowers

---Bushes

---Trees

---Grains

---Herbs

Feel free to suggest additional classifications, I'm going to bed now.

Glowcaps aren't "incredibly quick to grow." Plump helmets only have a growdur of 300, and they're better than glowcaps in every other way, too. As is, I can't really see the point of that one. I suggets either lowering the GROWDUR to 200, or raising the DRINKVALUE to 3.

I'm too lazy to look at the rest of them, but those ???'s are very annoying.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.

Just my 2 cents but I think that the Glumcap would be better suited to the same evil biomes as Glumprong trees

Why even bother with all the question marks in the first place?
DF's interpreter takes only stuff in brackets.
No commenting notation required.
Just don't use any brackets in your comments.

I just noticed that happy sponges needs a happy biome, good work!

Make more exotic, and exclusive produce.

Updated with a bunch of plants. Not all have descriptions yet.

If you can think of a better way to organize the aboveground plants, let me know!
