Oh yes, I knew what you meant.   I was just offering my own evil ploys.  ^__^

The problem is, the floor of my Arena will be mostly constructions, so constructing another maze on top of that will require far more work than I would prefer.   It's taking long enough just to get the place built.


Oh, and in response to someone's earlier post, there had been planned to have some ramps, with hatches on top of them, and chained lions in those.   Unfortunatly, the elves have yet to bring me lions....

They'll be tame if the elves bring them. Tame lions run away from goblins and don't attack dwarves. Just letting you know.

And yes, I know.  Wild lions are not an option.  Currently, the most dangerous thing as far as animals go is a rhesuse maque and a Horse.  ><  (I had some wolves... but I accidentally tamed them early on... ><)

It will mostly be goblins... and humans since they've decided to start seiging.

Well, goblins are good enough already. If you wanted more variety, you could try some berserk traders and caravan guards.

Well.. I had planned on finishing over vacation.

Funnily enough, I have LESS time over vacation to work on this than I did during school.

As such, when school starts back on Monday, I'll probably be able to get back to my 1-2 hours a night like normal.

I refuse to let this die (although I will admit my updates will be sluggish till we get this damned thing finished.   I lost some of my masons earlier.  Damned cave-in dust, rising 6 Z-levels from where it killed my nobles, to push my masons off the 6 level high wall!  ><)

Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the mason as it fell was Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why the mason had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now.

Idea: Whoever kills the dragon in the arena gets some DAMN FINE dragon leather armor and dragon bone greaves, gauntlets, and a helmet.

Same with other megabeasts, I guess. I mean, that's pretty awesome. Titan leather armor!
