Fun fact:

The trident and net combination you often see in conjuction with roman gladiators was actually fishing equipment. The net was, well, a net, and the trident was a type of fishing spear.

Done.   He's down in the waterpit with the rest of the crew now.

Swimming trains FAST.   and I don't even have to do anything.   *grins*

Aye, I'll sponsor a dwarf.

Name him Francene McFleshrender.

Train him well with swimming, pumping, and siege operating.

Equipment... spear, shield, hammer as a secondary if that's allowed.

Oh, can we get a list of all the training regiments you can provide?

I would like to request hostile fish in the arena, if possible.

Damn, everybody is swimming. There goes my plan to dig a tunnel to the arena and flood the place with a well-placed wall smash.

You're playing the wrong game, friend.

I want one.  Train him with swimming, pump operating, and siege operating.
If he can only have one, siege operating.
He use a spear.  Steel, of course, once available.
If you have any carp leather, try to get him to wear armor made outta that.

This sounds amusing. I'm totally in.

Name: Kibeth

Miner background preferred
Agile also preferred
Train him in swimming and pump once possible.

I'd also like to be a swordsdwarf.

I'm in on this. I think.

- Agile
- Mace (edit: Hammer is also acceptable)
- Swimming (does swimming train strength?)
- Named "Inaluct"
- Fish-hide leather armor to start with, please (if possible or convenient)

I tried to keep that legible at a glance. I think it would be easier for kurisukun if everyone tried to be concise.

i think that no skill raises a specific stat, at least thats what i have observed in adventure mode. sometimes swimming has increased my agility and other times it has increased my toughness.

Not strength? Uh oh. Anyway, I'm trying to get a macedwarf that can punt enemies off of platforms and ships (will there be battles over an abyss? It seems like a good idea), swim, and wear cool fish leather armor.

it could increase strength. the point i was trying to make was no skill increases one specific stat. also, is it too late to ask for a tough dwarf? i want to be able to take an arrow to the face and survive  ;D.
