>course details,legend.
_ is a square
S is the start
! is a encounter between squares(color coded for several threats)
+ is a pick up,I might use these or might not,it depends.
>pickups, always something good, stays with the racer who gets it until the end of the race,or someone steals it...
Once they cross the finish line with the pick up,they keep it.(usually cash)
>rtd style rolls.
>Cornering, chance each turn to prevent going off course.
If goes off course roll for chance to crash.
>Off course,makes a roll for crash,will return immediately(preferably by spectacular jump)
>Crash, will roll for damage, will return to course after gyrocopter pickup.
>Gyrocopter, yeah deal with it,picks up crashed cars and places them on course same square. However there is a alternative...
>Driving focus, you can sacrifice all henchdwarf orders and attacks to get a +1 to cornering.
Useful in tricky terrain.
>Driving style,you can shift between standard driving,aggressive driving(+1 speed,-1 cornering),and cautious driving.(+1 cornering,-1 speed)
>Speed, chance each turn to progress a square.
>Critical damage,if a attack succeeds and there is no armor, vehicle is totaled.Cannot finish.
>Going broke,if car is totaled and cannot aquire a new chassis before next race,is kicked out and slot is open for new racers.
Racers with no car can buy a chassis that comes with a set of cats and wood wheels for pities sake.
>Dwarf buck,db,if I can find the keycode for the dwarf fortress monetary symbol then I will use that.
>winnings,1st place,1000 db,2nd 750 db,3rd 500 db,all others get 250 pity cash except the racer in last place.Sawwey
>Beginning,1000 db.Start with free chassis.Must buy wheels and a 'engine'.
>Encounters, each turn, roll for creature/terrain spawn, spawns one square in front of leader.
Creatures can attack!
Terrain can reduce cornering!
>Combat, attacks can tear off armor and then later do critical damage.
Each henchdwarf=one attack provided they have a means.
>ramming,if there are other racers in your current square you may ram them for damage.
>range, each square in front or behind the vehicle a weapon is mounted on in which that weapon can hit,all weapons can hit in the same square.
>sabotage,pm me a target to sabotage, can only do this before a race.
Might get caught and hammered,so be aware.
Fail the roll and you die!(only a epic fail so psuedo-safe)
Success destroys a part of the target racer, however they will be alerted.
Can target a specific part for -1 to the roll.
>forfeiting,if you wish to discontinue in the current race, you may do so and join in on the next one with no prize money.Possible reasons for this would include preventing damage to your car.
>spectator betting,non-racers may bet on a racer,if that racer wins the spec gets that amount and may later use it to kit their car out if they join,or donate to a racer they like.
Refer to Strife26 for additional details
>Odd jobs and custom parts,Between races you may do nothing but shop for additional items for your car,or you may also perform certain odd jobs for cash, perform some extra special work on your car(new part),or repair all damages yourself(good for those who are low on cash, only fails on a 1).These special actions require a roll, and thus can be bad,not work,or give you something good.
Special items can be made during the race, but bad rolls often have even worse consequences than in-between races.
