---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

16th Malachite, 206, Mid-Summer:

I'm a legendary miner now.

I became legendary when I was mining a expansion for our coffins...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

15th Limestone, 206, Early-Autumn:

The cavarn has arrived!  We're going to request flux and pig iron to shut our Mayor up.

He has jailed the same metalsmith over and over again for not filling his mandate.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

8th Sandstone, 206, Mid-Autumn:

A bowyer withdrew from society today, she just stands there however, not telling me what she needs.  I told the fortress guards to keep an eye on her.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

20th Sandstone, 206, Mid-Autumn:

The cavarn has left, I think we reached a point were uhh....we can sustain ourselfs forever without trading, but that will cause long-term effects in the end that I don't want to deal with.

We have 5 miners, do you believe it?  They arn't as skilled as me, ofcourse, but they make good work to train.  You always learn more teaching than anything else my dad always said, until, well he was killed by orcs.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

27th Sandstone, 206, Mid-Autumn:

I saw migrants, I SAW migrants come here.  It has been awhile.

We got,

1 Hunter (I decided that it is too dangerous and made them join the military)
1 Woodcrafter
2 Blacksmiths
3 Peasants
1 Child
1 Woodworker
1 Siege Operator

TOTAL:  10

Nothing out-of-the-ordinary here.  Time to lock us into our tombs.

Nope!  Been too busy getting the damn windmills to work, making a alternate entrance, buidling beds, buildings bins, etc.

What do you want me to do anyway?  When I'm not busy.

Well if only you had a source of water, and magma, than you could make obsidian molds of orcs for your citizins to look at.

You know Star wars style.

Pssst: Build a Bowyers worshop, you'll get a legendary bowyer and an artifact crossbow!

There's also the off chance of it being a bow or blowgun. Of course those two can still do a considerable amount of damage if you could weild them in Fort mode, buut it's still a good idea to make that bowyers shop.

If it's a bow or blowgun then just give it to some snooty noble that has a weapon rack. The Legendary Bowyer is what we really want, masterful crossbows which never miss would be quite nice.

Crossbows only affect melee damage, you want masterful steel bolts.

Manafacture twelve bazillion Masterful crossbows, but no bolts. Train all of your soldiers as axe dwarves, assign them crossbows.

DO IT FOR THE LULZ!

Crossbows use hammer skill.

D:

Me getting all these details wrong is probably due to the fact that it's the middle of the night and I haven't slept for 37 hours.

Nah, I have a bowyer workshop, I don't feel like building every workshop though.  Not only is it a waste of space, but it might just be a bug.  She/He isn't that important anyway.

It could be that you don't have the correct workshop.

What other skills dose that bowyer have?
