I thought that was a bowkobold preparing to fire a carp at an unsuspecting dwarf

Holy crap that would be stupid..... *Runs off to find a way to make dangerous fish projectiles*

Interestingly, Armok's name actually originates from arm_ok, a variable in one of Toady's earlier games that kept track of how many of your arms weren't missing.

Hey, Mike, you have clear "dots" for the ground in med. version and a lot of dots in max version. I've made a tile for myself with a lot of small dots and a single "fat" dot to indicate the punctuation, and it looks nicely. I mean, just combine 2 pictures and you have a beautiful land + nice punctuation (do the same thing with " ' " ; " , " and " " " to get a seamless landscape with varying tiles and shrubs.)

I grabbed this and despite what it says on the webpage, the */ keys are still bound to raise/lower the z-level. What's up? This is using the default init file and with the MAX file. I haven't tried others. Where do I go to change this? I've never tried key reassignment in DF.

Chosen: the files responsible for the look of DFG are the data/init/ folder and the whole raws folder. Download the latest DF and copy them into the game folder.

Deon: as much as I find the ground a little too messy this way, I've included this option as the MIX version. Thanks for the suggestion!

forsaken: it's in the game menu (under ESC) but I've uploaded an update if you so prefer, as this wasn't supposed to happen.

Having another issue. I haven't changed anything except the key assignments from the escape menu but I'm unable to build anything with ordinary stone. I go to build, say, a leatherworker's workshop and the alunite and granite sitting all around does not show up on the menu of materials. Did you do any modding to this version?

I will redownload and test to be sure I didn't accidentally mess something up.

Are the stones enabled in the Z->Stone menu?

Unless alunite is an economic stone suddenly, then yes they should be enabled. I haven't changed anything.

Literally I embarked, changed the key binding, then attempted to build a wood furnace. I had 4 alunite stones in the wagon, but the only thing showing on the list were wood and copper bars. I tried again with a loom and then a leatherworker's shop with the same results. I then mined out a few pieces of granite and no luck.

Hi, I'm new here and to Dwarf Fortress. How do you set this mod up? I tried following the steps given on the discussion page of the wiki's 'list of graphical tilesets article', but now nothing shows when I try to play the game.

Just download it from his page, unpack the archive file into a folder and run it really.
