The tea on this island was still horrible. Not a single sugar crystal in a radius of a thousand miles, and Uchiwaka had to deal with what was most likely the most bitter tea in the world, possibly strong enough to mordant wood with it. To no avail he had tried to mix it with applejuice, what only resulted in a bleary brown conglomerate that was a pain to clean out of the cups.
Dissatisfied Uchiwaka stared into his cup, and then over to Kaguya who drank the tea without making a grimace every time she had to swallow.

"Say Kaguya, where did you get this recipe? This is the most bitter drink I have ever tasted. And I have drunken soap-water before."

Kaguya furrowed her brow. did he offend her?

"This is a recipe from my homeland. It may be bitter, but you get used to it. It is very healthy."

Uchiwaka again looked into his cup, as if he was looking at some sort of squished insect.

"Homeland, huh? I take it you were not born on this island then."

"Of course not. I was born in the noble city tsuki-no-miyako."

Uchiwaka threw himself backwards into the chair, holding his stomach in laughter.
"Haha tsuki-noAHAhAaha tsuki-no-miyako. What a sil ahah silly name. You are aware it translates to "Capital of the moon", right ?"

Kaguya was not smiling.
"Yes, I am aware, and I dare say it is the most fitting description of this city."

Uchiwaka apruptly stopped laughing. For a second he just sat there, leaned back on the chair. The silence would have been very awkward, if it wasn't for him almost losing balance and saving himself by swinging his arms desperatly.

"Soo, you are on of them? One of the cursed moon-tribe? A Mooninite?

Kaguya frowned at the expression "mooninite".

"Cursed? Saying that is unfair. The lunarians are suffering for the sins of their forefathers, sins they never comited nor wanted to commit. They live in a endless world of grey up there, the horizon filled with nothing but endless blackness and the blue and green planet above them. How dare you use this term and call them cursed!"

Uchiwaka suddenly felt very guilty. Not only was it shocking to see the usually calm Kaguya raise her voice like that, but also, her rage was totaly justified. Embarrassed he stared unto the ground.

"I..I am sorry. I didn't mean to...Anyway, why are you here when you are a lunarian? I thought it was forbidden for you to even set a foot down here."

Kaguya looked off into distance, her voice still angry.
"When I was young, my father decided to engage me with a nobleman. He was fat, and 3 times as old as I was. I knew my father would never care for my feelings, as he was convinced doing so was the best. At night  snuk out, to the temple of gesshoku. The priestess that lived there was the one who thought my all I know about magic, and more importantly, a very close friend of mine. Using forbidden magic, she send me down to this place. Sadly, the place she send me to was a place that is guarded by a gigantic monster snake. Haha..what are the chances?
Anyway, enough about me, what about you. I never hear you talking about yourself."

"Oh, there is not that much to say about me. I was born in a land that is called Tenrai Minzoku. It is a nation of light. Maybe you can see it from Tsuki-no-Miyako, I don't know. Due to a fate that I ams till struggling to understand, the gods are not allowing me to die a natural death like anybody else. However, they seem to be determined to kill me, considering how often they have tried to directly or indirectly dispose of me.
Over my sadly much too long life, I've led the life of 20 or 30 men. I've worked both as a farmer, and as the religious leader of my nation. Worked as medic on the battlefield, and as general on the battlefield. I once had a shop that sold little messing statues. I have lived in palaces and under bridges. I have been beaten senseless by drunkards is bars, and fought divine incarnations on par. Tamed dragons and almost lost a toe to a nasty infection after a rat bit me."

Uchiwaka continued talking for several hours. About the one time when he had to pursue the nymph that had stolen a message he had to deliver to the Hinyuudou. And about the time when he was tossed into the ocean by the stormgod himself. He talked about the time when he tripped himself on a set of stairs and laid in a hospital for 3 weeks, all because his left shoe broke, and about the time he and a mage named Danalof went out to destroy a village of viscious giants that threathened their elven neighbours. He continued talking and talking, and Kaguya's eyes were literaly glued to his lips. Many "ahhs" and "ohhs" accompanied his stories. When he talked about how the basilisk had him in his fangs, she gasped, and when he told her what Danalof did to his apnts, she laughed heartily.

"How come you and Danalof became so good friends after he blew up your pants?"

"Oh, I dunno. Danalof is just the kind of guy I can't be angry at for so long. And he transmutes good candy. I love sweet things."

*Sniff sniff*

"Uchiwaka, I guess I know what is the best word to describe you."

Uchi looked into her face with a suprise bordering shock. This must have been the very first time someone had the confidence to give a profound evaluation of who he is.

"You sir, are a vagabond."

"What, what makes you say that?"

Saying he was a vagabond was rather offensive. But the tone of her voice, and the smile on her lips were saying it like it was a honor title. Some mixed messages were coming across here.

"Because you smell like a wild animal. Dinner will be ready soon, and you will not sit at my table like this. A little north of here, there are volcanic springs. Go ahead and scrub yourself, I will send Inaba with some soap after you."

With these words, she hushed away. Uchiwaka raised an arm and smelled himself. Damn, she was right. It was suprising his feather haven't fallen out already. With a sigh, Uchiwaka walked out to the porch, where he had noticed night had long since fallen. A glance at the moon determined the time. It was long past midnight. How long have they been talking?

"Ahh, I guess it is going to be an early breakfast then, not a dinner.."

The hot spring smelled strongly of sulphur, and the water had a rather unpleasant yellow color. To avoid having to bathe in an actual suplhur solution, a big hole was dug next to the spring, and the water filtered through many layers of silk before it was let into the bath. The smell coming from the spring stayed, but at least the water look clean enough to bathe in it and come out cleaner than you came in. And sulphur is good for the skin anyway, maybe that was the reason why Kaguya had this perfect porcelain skin. Uchiwaka let himself be soaked into the hot bath. The warm water relaxed every muscle. It has been a long time since he last had a warm bath, as the dracans prefered cold water. Sure, cold water helps to toughen you up, but there is nothing over a nice warm bath. Letting his head rest on the stone, he raised his eyes to the moon above him. Tsuki-no-Miyako. Such a place...

A rustling sound in the bamboo announced someone was coming.

"Is that you Inaba?"

A deep and smoky voice answered.

"No, it's me."

Panicaly, Uchiwaka spread out his wings underwater.

"W-what the hell Kaguya!"

"Haha, I am sorry, but all the Usagigen were already sleeping, so I thought I'd bring you the soap myself. Maybe scrub your back while I am at it."

"This is still no excuse! This behaviour is totaly unexceptable."

Kaguya let out a loud, high pitched laugh.
"Oh please, I am just going to wash your back. Anyway, this is my bath, I can use it as i see fit, without needing excuses. So turn your back to me."

Uchiwaka sighed and turned his back. It was no use to argue with this woman anyway.

"You have beautiful hair, I wonder how a vagabond like you manages to.."

Kaguya gasped in shock. Moving Uchiwaka's hair away had revealed his back to her. It was over and over covered in scars. The skin was totaly destroyed, hardly a centimeter of it that was not a cut or a burn scar. The image was so violent it filled her eyes with tears.
"That's...that's.."

"This is what immortality means. When the gods themselves are out to get you, you might survive, but certainly, not unscathed. See that round burnmark on my left shoulder? This is where the stormgod hit me with lightning. It is the reason why I wear a mask during battle. If my face looked like the rest of my body, it would be hard to lead a normal life. I..I can understand if you don't want to wash this back."

"N..nonsense."

Carefully, Kaguya began to apply soap to the scarred back. The feeling under her fingers was deffinetly unpleasant, almost repulsive, but she could not bring it over herself to refuse to wash his back.

"I see when you told me about all your warrior tales, you were not lying..."

"Of course not. If I lied about them, it would be an insult to all those that have crossed blades with me."

"If...if we could get off this island..would you take me with you?"

"Hahahaa, well, sure thing, if you want to bring yourself into such danger. But  hey, as you said, beating this Uranijii thingy is impossible, so why does it matter?"

"Because..it might not be impossible. What if I told you there is a way to kill it?"

"What way?"

"As I already said, Uranijii is a mostly spiritual entity. Whatever damage is done to it's fleshly body will just fade away. We need to strike it at it's core. If the legends about it's creation are to be believed, inside it's body there is a great hall, in which a crystal is placed that is the source of all it's power. If we can destroy it, it will become instantly nonexistant."

Uchiwaka laughed. "And how are we supposed to pull that prank? This thing lives many many miles under the sea. If I just let myself be swallowed whole, I would still die once it is defeated."


"When I last had visitors, they had a lot of books with them. Many of them described the islands of this archipelago. Two of them are of interest for us. One is the island Yawatashirazu. The entire island is a complex maze, build to hide the treasure it is holding. The bell of hourai. An ancient artifact, with the power to attract spirits. If it really exists, then it has the power to lure Uranijii to the coast.
The other island is the island of Badaijou. It contains an ancient tree that was once worshipped as a god. Forged from the sap of this tree was a sword that is aid to have the ability to bind any being that was stabbed by it to the ground. If this sword really exists, it will keep Uranijii from fleeing into the deep water once you are inside him."


"If it really exists, if it really exists. You don't sound too convinced."

"Well. It is worth a try...is it not?"

"Fine, fine. Here is what we will do. I will distract it while you use a sp*THUNK*ell to go and take a deep nap while good old Uchiwaka deals with the bad guys."

With a heavy blow on his head, Uchiwaka had knocked Danalof out. He couldn't always put him into danger like this. The black fog that was Hrafn't ghost however, did not seem like it wanted any more delays. His hammer just barely was a bit to short to hit Uchiwaka dead on.

"Sigh, now you have all the time in the world, and you can't even let me make sure no one interfers this time..."

Uchiwaka raised danalof unto his shoulder.

"So give me a jiffy, will you?"

Before the sentence was properly over, Uchiwaka darted away, following the red string around his finger. From behind a loud scream was heared. Deep. Distant. For more, this body that was nothing but deep black smoke was no longer accountable. Uchiwaka ran as fast as his legs could move him, as the walls next to him began to grow ever darker and darker. One thing was for sure. Not having any legs anymore surely did not hinder him from moving damn fast through this maze. Each corner followed another corner, the same afetr the same, Uchi's only anchor, the red string, a life-line in an ocean of brickwalls.
Just how long were those hallways when you were in a hurry?
Another corner. Another corner.
A portal. Another corner.

Ahh, wait, just the right point.

With the full momentum of his run, he flung danalof through the puprple vortex that was swirling through the air like it was tied to an invisible wall. Uchiwaka followed him, and stuck his head through the portal.

Kaguya on the other side was euphoric to see him.
"Oh, finaly you are done there, it felt like you'd never come out. Did you get the bell? And who is that old guy?"

"Say, can you give me a few more minutes, I have to deal with some stuff in here."

"Wait, what? Keeping up this portal is hard work you know?"

"Really, not very long, it will be over in a jiaahaHAAAA"

With a forbodding popping sound, Uchiwaka disappeared back through the portal.

On the other side, he was dangling from a leg held in Hrafns smokey clutch.

"Hey, let go off me you ugly son of a stormcloud!"

The ghost shrugged, and began swirling Uchiwaka over his head like a ragdoll."

"Nonononon don't let go of meeee*thunk*

Hard, Uchiwaka impacted into a wall. Dizzily, he got up on his legs.

"Kay. It's on now. I am going to exorsice the fuck out of you."

Like a bolt of lightning, Uchiwaka charged at the Hrafn-cloud. The ghostly incarnation belched dark smoke and let his hammer soar down, but Uchiwaka dodged it like it was nothing. Compared to 20 logs crushing on you simultanously, dodging this was a peace of cake. It didn't even have this nice little shockwave trick anymore that it used to do. Truely, just a shadow of what once was Hrafn. Uchi held his sword and sprung upwards, ready to end it all in one blow. His blade went through Hrafn's head like through butter. Not a tiny bit of resistance. Uchiwaka landed behind him.

"What what, over already, you big ugly fume?"

A loud scream, and a pitch black hammer missing him only by centimeters proved him wrong.

"Didn't think so."

For what seemed an alternity, the battle raged on. Any observer would have said it was terribly onesided. Hrafn was just too slow. Much too slow. Without the battle prowess of his body, all that remained was the memory of it. Again and again, Uchiwaka's blade cut through the smokey moloch like through a training doll made of straw. Many would say Uchiwaka was the clear winner of this match.
But those who paid close attention knew better. Hit or no hit, no matter how vital the area his blade pierced, Hrafn was unphased. Not flinching, not twitching, not holding his arm. Not single drip of blood. And not a single wound that remained visible on his body. And he seemed to be getting faster and faster. Every so often, his attacks came dangerously close to hitting Uchiwaka. The tide was turning, and it was clear for both combatants why that happened. Hrafn was not getting faster. In his current state, there was no room for improval. No. Uchiwaka was getting slower.
Bound to the fleshly body that he had there was one thing Hrafn could deffinetly count on. Exhaustion. No one, not even Uchiwakamaru could dodge his blows for 2 hours and not get wasted.
Ever so slowly, Uchiwaka was forced to lose. What was almost playful in the beginning, soon became a struggle for bare survival. Until finaly he fell on his knees.
The dark cloud of smoke let out a macabre laughter, if the undefinable sound forming from it's throat could even be called that. With a massive swing, his hammer came down.
No way to dodge that, so much was clear for Uchiwaka. In a last, desperate attempt to survive, in almost a pitiful fashion, he raised arms to shield himself, awaiting the inevitable.

But the inevitable never came.

Hrafn's mighty hammer bounced off Uchiwaka in the same fashion a hammer gets thrown back when hitting an amboss too hard.

"W..wait what the..."

Perplexed, Uchiwaka took a look at his arms. Where the hammer had hit him, the skin was a little red, and he felt a slight burning sensation. But the usualy symptoms were amiss. Like his arms being turned into goo.
A smile appeared on his face.

"So....Is this how it is? A 100% fair duel. Not even our weapons interfer here. Here we stand, soul against soul. Well, I should not call this a fair duel."

Uchiwaka let his blade of light vanish and stored the flute in his belt.

"You know, what they say about souls, in the country where I come from? They are fragile things. Ever heared someone saying that "part of him just died?" Well, probably not, considering you live amongst barbarians. It is a thing that people say after they have killed for the first time."

Uchiwaka paused for a bit, to take a look at his fingernails, and to whistle a bit. Angrily, Hranf raised his hammer above his head.

"You see, scholars in my country say, that everytime a person kills, tiny tiny cracks appear in it. It is easy to fix them though, as souls can regenerate. A honest prayer for the ones you have killed helps a lot. Or risking your own life to help someone else too, can be good for ones soul."

Hrafn's hammer began soaring down.

"But if this kind of practise is missed, and a lot of killing occurs, it can almost become..."

Hrafn's hammer came down. Like a hollow block of glass thrown against an anvil, it shattered into a thousand pieces, that darted through the room, and vanished before they hit the walls, leaving nothing behind but a bit of black dust.

"...unstable."

Hrafn's expression, though hard to read in his obscureed face, was full of fear.

"I am glad that you came to visit me once more. Maybe this time, I was able to deliver to you what i wanted to give you. Understanding. Only know, that the very existance of your soul is endangered, you might understand why you are weak. Begone now. Begone, before I am forced to destroy your soul, a point of no return. Be reborn to lead a healthy life. and should your hatred still be so big that you have to come for me, come for me as an equal. And not as a shadow."

When the sentence was over, the black cloud that was Hrafn was already gone. Uchiwaka send out a silent prayer to the heavens. Please let him understand...

Training of new battalions: 4/7

The Hitengu refugees arrive at ikyon

The Hrun army is lead southwards, but due to the Hrun being slow in this terrain, they do not arrive yet.

The remaining Hitengu soldiers who were victorious after the siege, remain in Mimikozga, forming a Hitenguan district, Choume, southwest of the Katyan city, surrounded by volcanic springs. The Katyans and the Hitengu alike beginbuilding streets to connect their cities.

After what appears to be a dull eternity inside the maze, Danalof heard an echo. It was hard to locate, and harder to identify. After concentrating on it a bit, the sage guessed it was comming from the southern part of the maze. It appeared to be flute play.

"Bah, I've been in here for so long, I'm starting to immagine sounds... I just miss Uchiwakameru too much..." mutters the old man.

Soon, the sound is accompanied by footsteps. Danalof stands up and follows the sound, to convince himself it was just his silly immagination. As he walked around a corner, he crashed into someone and fell to the ground.

"Hey, can't you watch out!" said the person.

"What, oh, sorry, I didnt know there would be anyone else in this maze-" replied Danalof before noticing who was infront of him. The sage starts mumbling in a stare-locked shock.

"Oh sure, as if the maze only belongs to you." said Uchiwakameru angrily, dusting himself off.

"GAH! Is this stay in this accursed place driving me insane, or did the immortal spirit of Uchiwakameru come to haunt and annoy me for all of eternity?!?"

"Yyyyes, I came to haunt you, yes. But before that, could you maybe help me out? There should be a big bell somewhere in this maze. Pure gold, about as big as an apple. Yoou haven't seen it, right ?"

Danalof walked back, away from uchi, shouting, "Stay back, STAY BACK, specter of the dead! Oh, why didnt i invest more time in Death flows, as my dear old master told me to? I remember the day so long ago, when i was still a pupil..."

"Sigh, you are sure hopeless." Uchiwakamaru slaped Danalof. The sage snaped back to normal, stared a bit at uchi, and put his hand on his head. Uchi felt a tingling sensation in his body, as the mage checked for life signs.

"Uchi, it really IS you!"
"Of course. If I was dead, don't you think I had better things to do than haunting you?"

Danalof slaped Uchi, increasing his strength with the power of Air, to such an extent as Uchi was propelled back by a gust of wind. "WHERE IN THE NINE LAYERS OF HELL HAVE YOU BEEN???"

"Gah" exclaimed Uchiwakamaru before standing up and dusting himself. "Due to unfortunate circumstances i had a little problem to find the way back. Judging by the fact that you are here I guess you can relate."

"I was transported here by an unstudied and unexplainable manifestation of displacement flows in a shperical void element. A black hole, if you will. And I hope you thought of some way to get out of this place, as I've been lost in it for many months."

"So you tripped, fell into a hole, and suddenly find yourself in a maze thousand of miles away from home. I am afraid I have a bad influence on you... As for the exit, no problem, it's right over there." Uchiwakamaru showed Danalof his finger. A red line was strung to it.

"Ah, well atleast you thought of THAT. Now, you said something about a bell? Yes, I've seen one, and haven't been able to retreive it. I'll show you to it, so that we can then leave this place with all due hurry."

"Lead the way then, and don't trip into holes."

"I have to say, I've missed such comments." Said Danalof before leading him back to the main chamber.

Once there, Uchiwakamaru saw the Bell under the glass casing. "Why have you not managed to retrieve it?"

"These runes around it prevent me from reaching it. I think it has something to do with that plaque on the wall, written in a hitenguan dialect i can't read. Maybe you could have better luck at it"

Uchiwaka read the plaque, "'Follow the path of my light.' What is so hard to understand about this?"

"Try to read an unknown language and then ask that question."

"Sigh, this is the oldest hitengu puzzle ever. Whoever built this maze did not have much imagination that's for sure. Heck, it was me who devised this kind of mechanism." Uchiwakamaru pointed his flute at the writing, and then shined light in it like through a flashlight. The light bundled and moved in a straight line to the opposite wall.

"Check the point where the light touches the wall, will ya?"

Danalof examined were the light fell on the wall, and noticed one of the tiles was strange-looking. He clicked it. The tile easily sank into the wall. The glass casing disappeared.

"See ? Not the hardest of puzzles." teased Uchiwaka.

"Maybe for you. But considering I don't know Hitenguan riddles, I am at a disadvantage."

"Anyway, this is the bell of hourai. Very nice tool to have. You see, it attracts the attention of all spirits, living or dead." Uchiwakamaru held it up and shaked it.

"I dont see what's the use of attracting spirits-"

As the sound hit the old man's ears, he found himslef absolutely unable to look away from it for even a second. After a few seconds, he was again able to move his eyes into other directions, just in time to see something forming in the corner of his eye. A dark shadow, taking shape.

"Careful... Are you sure they are friendly?"

"Ahh, and here we have our first ghost" The dark blobs finished taking it's shape. Danalof immediatly recognized it. 14 meters talls, a beard that was adorned with skulls, and a gigantic black hammer in his hands.

"Nope, I am sure this one is not friendly." said Uchi nonchalantly.

"GAH, YOU IDIOT! RUUUN!" Danalof started casting a Death spell to keep it at bay, only remembering too late that it probably wouldnt be powerful enough to stop such a powerful being's ghost.

"Yes, you do that. I will stay. The reason why he came is obvious, is it not. Unless I put him to rest properly, the little baby here will just come again and again."

"I wont leave you to stand against this thing alone. I thought you were dead the first time, and you turned out alive. I won't let you annoy me with your death once again."

Uchiwakamaru walked up to Danalof and stood next to him. "Fine, fine. Here is what we will do. I will distract it while you use a sp-"

Suddenly, Danalof's eyes went black.

As Danalof woke up, he found himself in a small village, surrounded by bamboo. A tall woman with black hair stood next to him, concentrating on keeping a portal open.

"Huh... were am I? Did I trip into a hole aga- Wait, what am I saying?!"

"Uchiwaka threw you to the portal. You were unconscious. he went back inside, saying he had something to do. Please, don't speak, I have to concentrate."

Danalof stood up slowly, rubbing his head. "I'll help you with that." Danalof started to expertly weave Displacement flows to help with the portal.

"Didn't know you could do that. Thanks a lot. A little bit longer, and it would have collapsed."

"You can rest now, I'll take care of the portal."

"How can i rest now? He has been in there for 3 hours after you came out..."

"Don't worry. I think I've learned the ultimate lesson about trusting Uchiwakameru. No matter what, he'll be back. By the way, excuse me my lady, but I forgot to introduce myself. I am Danalof, the wandering sage, friend of Uchiwakameru."

"You are the guy who blew up his pants?"

"Uh, well yes. I guess I was..."

"I am Kaguya Taketori Madake. Pleased to meet you."

"Pleased to meet you too. Now may I ask, do you know what this labyrinth I was lost in was? And where did you learn this portal magic? And- Oh, yes, were am I?"

"It's just a labyrinth build to hide the bell of hourai, I don't know more about it. You are in the village of eientei."

"Ah, I guess I'm a bit... far... from home. Atleast I found Uchiwaka again. Everyone back home thinks he's dead..."

Uchi suddenly appeared through the portal. "Phew, that took a while"

"Uchiwaka!" exlaimed Danalof.

Kaguya rushed to hug him. "How dare you make me worried like that!"

Danalof put his hand on Uchi's head, to check his health. He concluded that Uchi was

"Couldn't be helped," continued Uchi. "I had to deal with an old aquantaince."

"Ah, I see you have come victorious. Once again. I can't say I am surprised." Danalof smiles to Uchi. "So, old friend, how about you tell me how you got here, and how you plan on getting home? It's been a while i havent seen you..."

(Primarily) Hitengu-manned watch towers exist east, southeast, south-by-southeast, and south of Mimikozga in the mountains, providing vision of the area and sending reports by light-signal.

Road to Kawareidou is completed, with heavy effort. Trade and diplomacy reopen, bigtime! There'll be plenty of traffic both ways this month, and the next.

The Katytans with ocular damage are healed by Masi, and Nanae is weaned off of firepowder through a fake sickness induced by Masi. Yane is happy to have her vision back, and makes good use of it, sparring long hours with Ison after having Bellblossom returned to her.

The last of the goblin metal is melted down, and a strange mood overtakes Oici, who now spends day and night absorbed in metallurgical concerns. As a result, no one touches the new iron stockpile, leaving her to this curious project.

By now, Liga is far too dangerous to safely spar with Erithreans and spends all her time pushing Gino to the limit. Although the pressure does produce results for the both of them, the sustainability of this practice is questionable.

Mika is having a much easier time of things, working on the farm. Kung Fu and social skills are the only things she's learning, and it's not that kind of Kung Fu.

Nasha spends a lot of time relaxing and eating. By the end of the month, she's resumed her firestalk duties and is stockpiling flamegrowth cloth. Tytia's archaeological and investigatory work continues apace.

Still a third of all Katytans are now retraining to cover trade skills that have been removed from the community by tragedy. Icand is among them--it's about time he learned leatherworking. After some practice on orc and goblin skins, the merits of troll hide armour are being explored.

Ringa devotes her time to self-improvement, gingerly avoiding work or social interaction. A second chance to grow up, however undesired, is still an intriguing opportunity that's impossible to pass up. Sadly, she doesn't seem to have regained the children's gift of easily picking up new languages, despite her attempts to communicate with Katytan allies. Her physical development, at least, has thus far been superb.

Oce and Ginya lead the way to Kawareidou, and Nasri (or all people) is put in charge of running the main fortress, while Anna is the presumptive steward of Kara's Camp, and Kara returns to Mimikozga to polish off old business. Sonoa is still recovering from injuries sustained in the most recent battle. Eval, on the other hand, made a quick recovery and has gone back to hunting.

Morphology
- Dracans are a lizard race that could be described as smaller dragons. Being made from the earth itself  Dracans can withstand being in lava but
only for a time. Their large wings give them the gift of flightmaking high mountain Fortress perfect for them. A larger lung size than most creatures
allows them to fly for a great time along with to great heights. In times of battle these wings would fold onto the warriors back to keep them from
harms way. *seems I forgot to mention earlier that they are humanoids, dragons in human form*

- Hero: Skriz - All but a master at bending earth he is capable of shifting earth even in the worst of conditions. Even if he is getting
         on in years he devotes his time to developing new ways for Earth bending to be used weather for war or for economic use.
        His ability with a Dracan staff is impressive as well as he uses the Dracans natural agility and earthbending capabilities in lethal
       doses in combat.

- Dracans use a type of caste system. Obelisk - Earth Lord - Dracan Elite - Soldier - Smiths - Peasant
   The Earth Lords: are chosen by Obelisk for their experience in fighting and strategics
   along with their overwhelming ability to bend the earth.

   Dracan Elite: rise up the ranks by showing an amazing ability to fight well even against
   overwhelming odds. It's been known for an Elite to be able to take on 100 Dracan soldiers
   without a knick on him. However the Dracan died shortly after of exhaustion.
   They also possess to a smaller extent the ability to bend the earth like the Lords.

   Soldier: These fighters rain death upon their foes from above with crossbows or on the battlefield
   with their unique weapons. A basic wooden staff with a blade attached to each end. This is the standard
   weapon for both Elites and Soldiers.

   Smiths: These are the Dracans that as the name implies smiths the weapons for the military.
   Using their earthbending to pull pure iron from the earth and formed into the traditional twin bladed staff.
   They also build boats and other buildings.

   Peasants: On the lower end of the caste are the peasants who grow food for the military. Using what little
   earthbending they have, they are able to make extremely productive farms.

- Dracans as a Race just want to expand and endure.
- Obelisk is known to walk among his race's capital. However he does not demand that his people worship him, only that
  they treat him as one of their own.

Technology
- The ability to make Iron has been perfected while Steel is known to exist the process to make it has yet to be perfected.
  Seafaring is a well know trade among the Dracans since they are on an island as their own, their ability to fly has allowed them
  to become accomplished at the task since they are able to tell how the wind will flow by just glancing at the sky.

  Ships:
   Trader (Crew 4) : A small fast ship that skips accross the water bringing supplies and trade goods wherever it goes.
   Able to hold 12 warriors if neccessary.
   
   Transport (Crew : A military vessel that carries large amounts of troops across the water. Comes with a top that can open
   up so that troops can fly out quickly and swarm the enemy.
   Able to hold 32 warriors

   Ragnorak (Crew 12) : A ship made up of volcanic materials making it incredibly light. Large rocks are kept on board so they can
   be used as ammo for Earth Benders on board.
   Able to hold 64 warriors.
   
Magic & Divine Powers
- They have the ability to bend the earth to their will to varying degrees. It is different with each Dracan, it is thought that
   those that have a great command of the earth were forged with stronger materials than other Dracans. Also through their
   earth bending they are able to sense even the most minute tremors in the earth, showing the tall tale signs of an eruption or a far off army
   on the march.
-  Since Dracans are made of earth they are able to tolerate the extreme heat, and the extreme cold.

Arrival in the world
- They were brought upon the world by Obelisk after seeing many other gods influencing the world with their
   own races.
- They start with a population of 400.

The judge slowly walked down the hallway of the Spire, looking at the lapping river below through the occasional window. So far above the ground he stood. A heavy leather satchel rested across his shoulder. Inside were the testaments of the forest creatures, strange winged animals that had drawn some picture of a creature. The scribes had taken great measure to translate it from the dirt to fine parchment. Looking down at his package again he caught a glimpse of the drawing and almost burst into a fit of laughter.

The poor simple-minded forest creatures had drawn this beast to immense scale. A snake tail and a lion's head, some foul twisted creature from a story. A heavy metal gauntlet landed on his shoulder as he fought to control himself. Eyes going wide with terror he turned to look into the one eye of Judge-Magister Octavius's helmet. Slamming his fist to his chest and snapping his heels in smart salute like all Judges should. Removing the satchel the judge hands it to Octavius, careful not to get the bag caught on his armor. The silent man's hands move to take the bag, departing into one of the many dayrooms of the Spire. Before long Octavius slams the door open to the Judge's fright. "Recall the legion, ready airships, forest animals always manage to sense filthier beasts then themselves, I do not want to risk it this time."

First Heph quits, now Navian. And, excuse me if I have to say it that way, the rest of the players are not exactly the kind of people I want to play BotG with (except maybe for poltifar, but in the end, he is only a single adventurer).
Botg is a RP game, and not a strategy game.

If I am forced to endure fighting war against people who have copypasted the same list over and over again just with different numbers more often than they exchanged dialouge with another player then I can wholehearthly say that this botg has nothing interesting to hold me, not even Uchi and the story I had planned, because half of the players here don't read it anyway.
