(Ice is the solid form of water, but picture it as more of a magical water glass, a solid-like liquid! Neato! Spiffy! Also, magic.)

((As navi said ice is a solid form of water. Not rock, it's literally made from rock, but floating. I'm not going to pester you to change it, but keep it in mind. It is NOT made from ice.))

((Rock floats just fine. Zako does have some points, and so does Jonathan. I didn't read that race profile or opener, so I don't know. First off, if its clear and watery bluish, it will look like ice. Regardless of whether it is or not, it will look like ice. However, anything with uniform structure that is made of ice or even something that looks like ice should not be interpreted as an iceberg. That is a sign of poor racial eyesight. Also, if you could see it from any reasonable distance, it would be obvious that it couldn't be an iceberg. Meh. Just my chip. Clueless.))

((Ice is the only solid that floats in it's own liquid. In the arrival of the race, it is said that the city was made from WATER. It then transformed into a SOLID. If it was water in the beginning and now floats on top of water as a solid, it is obviously ice from a realistic view. This doesn't take into account of magic and fantasy elements and so on. The material that Foereaver is made from is obviously a example of this.

Rock doesn't float all that well in my knowledge of the elements. And the Hrun sailors aren't familiar with the workings of magic as their race has none at the moment. So they will use what they know and have experienced: if it looks like ice, floats on water and looks like ice: Its obviously an iceberg to them.

And if you actually read the entire post right, you would have read that it APPEARS to be an iceberg. A strange iceberg because it is floating in the ocean in spring, but something that APPEARS to look like an iceberg from a tile away nonetheless.))

((For one the 'rock' is magical and floats, second it's opaque and a bluish-purplish colour. Thirdly it isn't raised out of the water like a typical iceberg - it looks more like an island. The entire 'islands' outskirt - the shore - is.. Uh it's hard to explain. You know the wall that docks have? The entire shore is that.))

((Ahh ok. That explains a lot. But remember that to a nonmagical hrun from a tile away from the island, it looks to be an iceberg. That will change when they get closer. Happy?))

Turn 33
Year 3, Early Summer

((
@everyone : please avoid retroactive movement. It tends to upset players who want to attack you ;). It creates time paradoxes too.

Also, when planning to attack someone, the attacker should send me the strategy as early as possible before the attack. It takes time to check that strategies are valid and to wait for the defender's strategy. It also takes a lot of time and PMs to find out the exact kind of terrain you are fighting on.

A strategy PM must at least include the exact amount of troops involved. If more than two civs are fighting I need a PM from all involved parties (either each civ's strategy or an autorization to let another player control the army).

@Zako : you probably forgot, but Erak is supposed to be that 'v' standing NE of the katytan capital.
