Well, what do you expect from a group of dwarves named 'The Carnal Bolts'?  You're just lucky the engraving wasn't R-rated.

It's probably best not to consider what their coat of arms would look like.

Put a few caged nightwings and harpies in near the trading depot. Wait for spring. Lock down the trading depot with the elves inside. Release the beasts. Revel in the screams. Enjoy your new war.

Or, do that exactly the same, but instead of creatures coming out of the walls, magma out of the ceiling.  Much better in the long term.  Got more magma (normally) than chasm critters.

If the carver goes melancholy over a destroyed masterpiece, then it'll teach him an object lesson about art-appreciation.

To be perfectly honest, they are a little creepy, but otherwise tolerable.
I do have a personal vendetta against them in adventure mode.
