gah! (combat spam woes)

Is there a way to ignore combat that doesn't involve me or isn't near me? I can't take one damn step without being interrupted by blah blah [MORE]

A way of determining the direction of the message's subject in relation to one's own position would also be of use.

Because the word reflex is a noun, not a verb.
You want "pressed the spacebar by reflex"
ie "I actually pressed the spacebar by reflex when I read [MORE]."

Reflexively pressed the space bar.

And yes, finding out the direction would be nice. Reading about my companions get mauled by a stray antman is not fun when I'm running around trying to find the stupid bastards.
