I had no idea wamblers were so wriggly.

EDIT: Well, I found a cage in my new world. I put a live turtle in it just like you put items in backpacks, and found out that vermin cost 5 dorfbucks! Not worth it. Unless cages have a lot of room, and you fill them with cockroaches. But then again, dirt sells just as well.

glum-prong.  A rather gloomy tree with pointy branches.  Makes swamps look menacing.

It's a ready made spike. Impale some goblins on your trees for atmosphere.

Glumprong (and Feather tree, as I recall) are made up for your generic evil (good for feather) trees.
Fluffy wamblers, nightwings, foul blendecs, all those types of things are made up for your generic filler creatures.

The DF world would be boring if it adhered to real things.
In fact, the DF world would be nonexistent in that case, being that dwarves (as a race, not short/small other things) don't exist IRL.
