Um.... Is there a reason to build a raft on Random Island mode? I built a raft and have been sailing for seven game days straight but haven't found another island. Will I ever find one?

Nope, rafts are only for sea travel, around the island.

I've been working on a way to change maps when I've finished with one. Unfortunately, I can only load premade maps, as opposed to generating a new one.

the raft is some-what useless. Well until somone makes a map with a cluster of islands and you need a boat to get by the(sharp) reefs.

Goldbow does more damage and fires faster I believe.

Can also fire multiple types of ammo, namely fire, poison, and regular.

all bow-type can fire multiple types of ammo

He was comparing the arbalest and the gold bow. The arbalest can fire multiple types, but all do the same thing with varying levels of damage. The gold bow can fire arrows, poison arrows, and fire arrows, the last two do things beyond damage. Add in a claw spear for bleed and you drop anything really quick.

a lil inneficent since you spend alot of time to kill one thing, I would suggest giving a raptor a dose of poision and then gunning it down with 'normal' arrow
