[Spoiler... again] There's a golden bow on the island already. It's at the top of a hill/mountain near where you enter the level. There's golden shiny sparkly stuff coming from the mountain, so it's not hard to find. Other than that, I don't think there's any gold ore spots on that island. I dealt with that one by staying in the water and circling the island to find the stuff.

There's one behind that cave...

but it's still better to bring an Arbalest and 500 bolts. Which is what I did.

Island 4 is also easier to handle with the Arbalest.

A GOlden Bow shoots faster and does more damage btw.

Actually, I had a lot of trouble slicing and dicing raptors with the golden bow.

I'd packed the Arbalest from way before so I used up about three hundred bolts and kicked my lumbering up to about 160. Tree murder!

Arbalest is the most broken item in the game, completely overpowered and makes any island boringly easy.

A center of my map:
A high volcano (it's far that's why it isn't very monumental) with obsidian and natives.

I haven't touched scripts yet.

I've found that the scripts are very VERY easy! And C-like. Wow. You can make awesome stories in this game.
Also all models are b3d!
The game is a heaven for modders.
For now I'm tweaking native people =).
Damn it, it's hard to make a map and scripts together. You don't know what to do first :-).

The triggers to show diary entrys aren't showing up on any mode and blood rush isn't going away on adventure, so even if I made a map I can't test it.
Anyone else experienced these problems?

All you need for a diary entry is such:

code:
on:trigger{add "!1Sample Diary Entry";
add "Simple enough.";
add "";
add "The above is a newline.";
stoptrigger [ID];}

Use that in the code for an instant-active area trigger set to detect 1x Player. Walk into the area and you has a diary entry.


Or is that not the problem? :V

You may want to make some medical items to prevent your blood loss of fractures (which slow you down).

It's strange, I have no problems with diary...

By the way, I want to make something that'll show a list of what I could give to a person in order to recieve a specific item. How I does that?

(I'm referring to that menu that works somewhat like the combinations menu. The professor that comes up sometimes on the Random Islands does this.)
