By the way, what's going to happen to those bajillion glass blocks I made?

I could see a bit of clearing going on earlier, not to mention the sand bags stockpile, what's happened to those, also you do know we have a legendary glass maker? Why doesn't someone make use of her?

Erm, read what Duke posted:
Yes, the castle will be on supports over a lake of magma. Glass will be used.

Ah yes, a glass castle menacing with spears, and spikes of everything.

Brilliant! ;D

I bought the serpent first thing my turn.  I was looking for ambush fodder, and just bought every animal... though this one might have to wait until we have a moat.

You may want to make sure invaders won't be able to shoot it or you can make it a nice little home complete with bones if you catch my drift.

I was also thinking of making a blind for it outside, so that when the ambushes walk by, and are revieled, they all plunge into the water after it.  Of course, that makes for 5x legendary swimming goblin archers, but win some lose some.

Plans changed. Serpent will be released in flooded area. Shaft will be the only entrance after that. A single cage trap shall be built to capture food for it. It's grotto shall be a thing of horrors.

Windows shall be unnecessary as the surrounding area will be filled with MAGMA.

 GWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah guys, whatever you do, DON'T KILL THE SERPENT! :-D I support having her terrorize the flooded levels (even though letting all that magnetite go to waste is a pity...).

Too bad Olga and Dain died - I'm surprised you had trouble with ambushes, in my turn it seemed that the military was able to handle them easily. But it was great to read you update :-)

I'd like to put myself back in the list as well.

Hey folks,

I have downloaded Pruvan's and Creamcorn's save, and re-uploaded their maps to DFMA, so that all of speargroove's maps are in the same archive.

http://mkv25.net/dfma/map-4154-speargroove

This may help us get a better feel of the change in the fortress. Feel free to add your POIs! :-)

For the next players, if you would like to add your map to the same series, you need to rename your map file before uploading. The file name should be:

Speargroove-YEAR-NUMBER.fdf-map

In other words, you don't need to change the year or the number, but change anything before the year to "Speargroove" (capitalization matters).

Cheers :-)

It would be grand if that happened ingame. However, the problem lies in that happening in real life.

 Yeah.

IRL, too bad you can't take a hammer to your problems, and call it a day.

IRL, too bad you can't take your problems to a Magma Lake, and call it a day.
Preferable, and less of a mess on my hands.
Only I know how much less of that I need.
