Those are most epic last words.

Hey, who's next? I'll volunteer to go if no one is willing to.
I think Time Kitten should be next, since she was supposed to go before me.  Or Caranha, or Duke again.

Time Kitten you are up. If you fail to reply within a week, then the fort will be passed to Caranha.

Edit- Epic update by the way, sorry for being such a terrible succession host in such an awesome game. When we get to the end of the list, it will be my turn again but before starting I will try copy paste everyone's turn into a pdf or some other text  and image file for quick access.

Gah, this succesion list is getting wonky, or some other stupid word like that. AFD you really need to fix up that list because I have no clue when I'm going up and I feel like I'm last on the list. :(

The succession line as getting as wonky as the fortress itself.

 I simply love this.

And it all happens again...

And so the child, one who understood the bones, and covered herself in blood for lack of clothes and mud, drew upon the wall a picture of time itself, and laughed and laughed and laughed.  For she listened not to them now, but the kitt hanging over her head, staring from the ceiling.

"The ceiling must be higher, so the light not shine, and the redglow comforts us from the sky."

"Oh, oh, pumps can help put it there!"

"Oh, yes, yes they can, but who shall work the pumps for such a task.  Surely they would only put up the glass if indeed they could ower themselves."

The child slouches and pouts.  But it comes to her mind, as it was placed, as it was needed, as Time Kitten saw fit.

"Yes, yes, I'll fetch a bucket and start right away!"

"No, no, to the obsidian tower to rest now, for that is your home, and it is warm, and it overlooks all"

And so the child grabbed up a pair of bones, one to write upon the other as she charges up into the sky.

Watch them stand, watch them fall, watch them fail, the bugbear menace claimed two and a half and ate some crab.

I have no idea what I just read, but it sounds like this year will be interesting.

Unfortionatly, I was left REALLY bogged down in hauling tasks.  I think I might have to assign skills unit by unit to be able to get anything done as well, since there seems to be professions from which there are just no survivors.

Grrr... and Duke wont trade, he's too busy giving food and watter to the wounded!

Egads lady, you have not let us down.

Also, we have to drain that aquifer somehow!

I'm thinking either pumping magma into it to solidify it or carving a fortification into the map edge an d see if it drains.

 Nay, we must dri-
Actually, having a constantly draining aquifer would add a lot more havoc to this fortress. It may kill the framerate, but it might just work...
