Just in case, had you closed your DF application before you genned a new world? It could happen that you tweaked the text files but forgot to reload the game itself... Just a single possibility.

Anything at all?  Or just the modded stuff?

If it's the modded stuff, you probably need to update the weapon allowances in the entity file.

If you mean there's just nothing listed to make in the bowyer shop, then you've got a real problem, and may want to consider a fresh installation.

Finally! It worked! :D

It's crude, but efficient. I can now make wooden/bone spears, daggers, short swords, and choppers. And bows, apparently.


... But not shovels, even though I added [RANGED:NO_MATGLOSS:NO_MATGLOSS] to it....

Ah well, who wants a bone shovel anyway?

NO_MATGLOSS?  What?  You can't just throw any crap in there, it has to be [RANGED:<skill token>:<ammo category>].  I *think* you can use a fake ammo category, but you definitely need a real skill token.

Thanks for feedback, I'll work on it some more.

It's also been pointed out to me that most of the nobles will never turn up, since apparently kobolds will not hold elections, and baron and above will never arrive.  Never survived far enough to test that myself.

Why do Crossbow-kobolds have normal bows?
Like its hard to make one with a vertical bow and one with a horizontal.
