I'm almost certain this is a bug, but replicating the circumstances would be a pain seeing as how I'm not even absolutely sure how it started, and that at any given moment they could strike vitals and kill her, she's just been "lucky" that all they are doing is slowly dismembering her.

Did notice something else, in the personality set there is an entry that I have never seen before:
"She doesn't really care about anything anymore." Although is apparently quite content.

It may be a part of the "dwarves too busy sparring, they starve" bug, except, this one is a "too busy fighting to die" bug.

I approve.

What I find kind of amazing is that it's a peasant, no attributes at all.

That last gobbo would stand there, missing an arm, punctured in a kidney, liver, and spleen, fading in and out of consciousness at the far end of where the drawbridge would go, and his last sight would be the drawbridge dropping down and smashing him like a bug.

God DAMN I love this game!

There's some kind of "stuck wrestling" bug with the newer versions. I had it happen once with a Titan in a pit, into which pit I then introduced the Hammerer (sans hammer). They became wedged together in mortal combat as the Titan slowly tormented the Hammerer, but not sufficiently to kill him. Slowly as in they wrestled for two years.

As a side note, it is important to remember that, should you allow a trapped megabeast to train up to Legendary+5 in a combat skill, you should be even more careful than normal about them getting out.

Well it's summer again, she is at this point a torso and half a right arm, the other leg was torn off sometime during the spring. This time is the first time in a long time I have worried about if she is going to die or not, she has progressed to a yellow brain and upper spine wounds, and red on the lower spine. I don't suspect she will last much longer.

Just curious, has her migrant status worn off?  I'm not sure you'd be able to see the migrant's flashing X among all the other indicators, but maybe migrants have temporary invulnerability or something.

Well she is flashing with a X but then again so are half of the monkeys, so figure that one out.

I *think* the migrant X might be gray, while the unconsciousness X is white.  I watched the movie again and didn't see a gray X, though.

As long as you you've got a save with the bug in progress, and the bug doesn't disappear after loading the save, it's probably worth submitting.

I will submit it, she died after a goblin ambush was led to her by the outpost liaison. I do wish that they had not come around yet, I was looking forward to seeing how much one dwarf could endure.

Hmmph, you might at least have sent out a rescue party.   :P

Don't worry, she comes back in the end. I've seen this movie before.
