It's okay Del... We worked on flattening the deed yesterday. We're almost 3/4 done.

Here's a complementary victory screenshot.

Yeah, we've been making quite a bit of progress with the town, hopefully the 3/4th portion of the deed can be flattened by the end of the week... *crosses fingers*.

Food is fine, not sure about how many are active.
Large amounts of terraforming has been done lately by Stride and others so the deed will be complete very soon.

Hrrn. About how much of a travel time is it from NT to CB? I've got a basic grasp on navigation -- is there roads the whole way, or only until the highway ends?

I think it's about 10 minutes. I've never timed it, but it should be something like that. We still don't have a road around the lake (afaik), but the lake is pretty much the only obstacle you will have to face.

About food supplies, we have plenty of food, wolves spawn a lot over there and we have a few people farming/collecting.

lol @ soul... No, it's not 10 minutes... if you have full food and water, and are waylaid by monsters much, it's close to an hour.

There is roads almost all the way there, you will have to swim for some of the later journey, but it will be worth it when you get there.

Let us know if you need any help with directions or anything.

Seriously Stride? I didn't think it was that long. I mean, I'd done it a few times and I must say the first time was slow as hell because I encountered about 5 aggros in the way. But the other times it was smooth and fast.

And about housing... ATM we don't have any housing space left. But there should be 24 houses when the deed is done I think, and we have 10 spots or so taken already. People who help the deed more, be it with income or work, have housing priority.

As for work, you're free to deny help to anyone. But if you only do stuff for yourself and take from others, I don't think Del or any of us will like that.

Java is funny like that. There are 3 separate points at which is has to download; the first, when you download the file to run it, the second when it downloads the actual client, and the third when the client downloads all the textures models and stuff.

Vel: We're mostly independent, unless it's something major. Like flattening the deed, we try to get everyone to help digging whenever there are a few of us online at the same time. Otherwise sometimes people ask for tools, slabs, etc, nothing too annoying.
