This is a masterful engraving by Rhenaya Adziril. On it is apicture of Skooma and dwarves. Skooma is surrounded by the dwarves. On it is picture of Skooma and The rapture of otters. Skooma is devouring The raputre of otters. This image relates to the Latenight Snack in 2008.

From "Angroshs Kinder" Das schwarze Auge Zwergenhandbuch - (Angrosh Children, the dark eye, german pen&paper, dwarven handbook):
"Elves!? Their men dont wear beards, and their women bathe nacked to lure you into the water and drown you. Thank Angrosh they are as ugly as the day and all big and skinny."

minced liquids are a lot more common then that:
Dwarven wine roast
made of minced dwarven wine, finely minced dwarven wine, minced dwarven wine, and expertly minced dwarven wine.

get the point?

it's baked dwarven wine with knifes stuck in it.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
This is a stack of 5 exceptional plump helmet roasts. Its ingredients are plump helmets, finely minced plump helmets, exceptionally minced plump helmets, and exceptionally minced cow's milk.

I made this for dinner tonight, and I couldn't help but think of dwarf fortress when I did...

Edit: spoiler'd for size.

Oh God, what is it?!

Portabello mushrooms stuffed with mushrooms with a cream-mushroom sauce. It was extremely tasty.

Yeah, I'd eat that.  The stuffing mushrooms look a bit cooked-to-death though.  Did you use a food processor for the sauce?

Food processor for the sauce, yeah. The stuffing mushrooms were originally dried (boo), so I had to soak them before sauteing them, which might be why they look overcooked. I can assure you that they were not, though. I do think that I'll handle the roasting a bit differently in the future, but that's what happens when you are trying something for the first time.

Oh, that makes sense.  That honestly looks better every time I scroll back up.  I might have to try making that sometime, or at least the sauce.

Sadly my fiancee is one of those crazy people who doesn't like mushrooms for some reason :(
