Yes. Though skipping a month isn't a big deal. If you fall seriously behind, you might consider taking advantage of the opportunity to join the thieves guilds. Membership in the theives guild requires you to skip payments for 4 months. Going without paying taxes that long may drop you into a huge karma hole that will be painfully difficult to get out of if you're not prepared for it though.

I just started a new toon after a long break, must have been 8 months now. Anyway, started my very fist pianist. Things were going great until I hit level 4, and oh man..getting smashed. Forgot how brutal Elona can be
jnecros, they don't like your music skills?

And Skaltum, although jnecros does not tell in what way he's getting smashed, I'm curious why you brought up aliens in response :P

aliens are brutal :P. just like the game in general

I just realized, after adding the new body parts to the other races, that I have an entire squad of dwarves with a shield in each hand and swinging their axes with their penises. There's nightmare fuel for those goblins, in more ways than one.

i just got the raganok , and this thing is overpowered :

it explodes the whole map , doing 50(?) damage to any npc and turns them hostile if they are friendly

spawns deadly creatures all over the god damned place , which is total suicide if you don't teleport.

man , i need a break after using that , i am tired of getting chased by guards and owned.(nuclear bombs , maybe)

Yep 'toon', slang for character.

Got gold firmly under control now. Any solid farming spots for kitty banks? I have been trying to find one for about 2 months with no luck, hitting town vendors and running the puppy cave over and over. Are they really rare or am I having bad luck?

There's a respawning one in Yowyn. If you have some pickpocketing skill then that's an easy one to nab.

There's a respawning one in Yowyn. If you have some pickpocketing skill then that's an easy one to nab.

I had a lot of fun with this game for a while, but I found the repetition was a bit much for me. It might technically be a roguelike game but the weird asian love of grinding endlessly to make any sort of progress is still there, which has never been my cup of tea.

Still, I liked my fairy performer for a good long while.

I spent most of my play time running delivery errands for the job boards.  It's weird, because it SHOULD have been totally boring, but I was entertained for pretty much all of it.  I was like a heavily armed mailman, and that felt good.

I guess my characters were thematic enough that it kept it fun?  The first one I pictured as some kind of badass hardship-enduring pianist who could also kill you with his fists, and the second was like a wand blasting amazon with a claymore swinging deathloli.
