The +10 speed alone is well worth the 2-5 PV that you'd get from most boots. Then throw in the ability to run delivery missions crazy fast.

Only problem is the RNG, it's possible that you'll get some crappy material like paper or candy.
I remember getting a cursed raw 7LB. I accidentally ate it and starved to death.

As for money, do delivery and escort quests. Some times you get lucky and you can get like 5 of them all to the same place.

My jaw just dropped.
I never thought about doing several delivery/escort quests to the same place /facepalm

You just reminded me, Mindmaker, I REGRET not taking the Sexy feat. Ever since I hit level 6 I can't do escort quests because I rolled my character to have 10 charisma. I die and lose that point then I regain it with the prostitutes then I die and lose it again. Dx

Well I'm a pianist with enough charisma to have 3 companions.
I took all the luck-feats and collect luck equipment since this stat is pretty proftibale.
The random events will love you!

In Layman terms: You're focusing on the wrong clientelle. Pimp yourself out to the RNG and save yourself the karma loss.

hi,
for all more expert players, i would have some questions,
-is there an easy (cheap) way to identify (300 for things that will sell for 100 is not worth)
-how do you get some gold in the begining (i have some hard time with it)
-can you exchange gold/platina?
-i read about negative mutations but haven't seen on the wiki, what are they? can you mutate yourself to have more hands/rings or is it just +feats?
-have costum races have racial feats? i havent seen them but here in the forum someone wrote about and i am confused ...
that is all for now (sorry for not reading trougth if answered, i just have a too slow net here)

Get and/or raise your negotiation skill. The price of identification will drop dramatically. At the beginning, only identify items you're thinking of equipping. Take the price hit until you've got the negotiation skill.

Take easy fetch quests or delivery quests. Keep an eye out for delivery quests that go to the same town, but remember to check how many days you have to complete it.

There is no way to buy platinum with gold. They're rare for a reason.

There are two types of mutations:
The regular mutations are affect your attributes, a few potions, fountains, dreams, and monster attacks can cause mutations. These can be positive or negative. They can be cured by drinking potions of cure mutation.

The other type of mutation is the Mutant feat, which lets you randomly grow a body part. Mutants start out with this feat (But only start with four equipment slots). All other races can get it by using a "Secret Treasure". There is no way to remove it though. Keep in mind thatthe slots you get are random. You might end up with even slots, but there's always the chance of growing 12 heads if you're really unlucky.

There are no official custom races yet, I made those myself with a hex editor. There ARE debug races though.

1) If you have a good quality sense(forgot what the skill is called), you will automatically identify an item after a while. Either that or learn identify as a magician.
2) Do escort/delivery quests that have 9+ days to complete. Make sure they don't want you to go to Noyel, though. Also, you get a treasure map a quite a bit of equipment if you do the main quest a bit.
3) Unfortunately, you can't. :(
4) I don't really understand. :P
5) I don't know about costum races. :(

Besides getting Negotiation and joining Figher's Guild (50% off) to bring the ID price down, you can also do it by simply hauling the items around. Even without the Sense Quality skill, you will eventually get some partial identification, like Good, Great, Scary and Dreadful. Scary and Dreadful items are cursed and doomed respectively, and Good is for most cases not worth the ID price, unless your respective equipment slot is empty. If you haul them around long enough you will eventually get a full ID. Getting the Sense Quality skill will speed up this process.

That's just for equipments though. Scrolls, books and potions are worth the price because you only need to do it once per item for the name. You still need to use Sense Quality for the Blessed/Cursed status for each individual copy.

No, those adventurers are NPCs.

No, those adventurers are NPCs.

If they WERE PC's you'd be running into adventurers equipped with summon monster + it brings an end equipment that people put there just to get you killed.
