If you wanna get rid of it, I suggest you find a scroll of uncurse or a Scroll of inferior material.

The latter can turn it into meat and then you can just eat the damn thing away.

If you can uncurse it, you can then deequip it while retaining the random teleport effect. Typically. The item system is kinda wonky, but if the weapon says it does random teleport, uncursing it will allow you to take it off when you don't want to and put it back on when you do. Eating it WOULD just be a waste.

Actually I save-scummed, and uncursed it. I can now unequip it (I couldnt with it cursed) bu the teleportation effect gone too.
