I found it disturbing that you can abort the facehugger alien by drinking ink, if I recall. Also, if you manage to vomit somehow, I believe you get rid of it.

I got a raw grenade. Raw is, I think, meat, as corpses tend to be made out of it. It is godly powerful, though it says the damage is 1d4, that appears to be from the impact. The actual explosion is a great deal stronger, and hits a 3x3 area. I love it so much.

Oh man, are bullets infinite? It looks like I just have one bullet and I just keep shooting... I just upgraded to a Machinegun too.

This might be my favorite roguelike so far, it has the features of ADOM I liked (Overworld, skills) smoothness I have never seen in a Roguelike, and guns and grenades.

Yes bullets and arrows are simply an "infinite quiver" if you will. More like, what KIND of ammo you're shooting.

By the way, the game doesn't seem to distinguish between bullets and power cells for laser weapons.

Uh oh, something bad is going on outside... And I was so far from town I had to duck into a dungeon... So now me and Milly are stuck in a dungeon till whatever is going on out there is over...

Also I noticed that only the Player character seems to use the animated character sprite... I might mod it into a Keronian for fun later. :P

Edit: Oh my god the Etherwind lasts a long time... I'm gonna go nuts waiting for it to stop... I can still hear it howling outside...

Heh. Going nuts because of a danger like a blizzard or a wind in a GAME. Not in real life.

This my friend, is sign that you don't get out often enough.

No, it's a deep seated fear of doomsday scenarios combined with a habit of really getting into games. And the Etherwind is a damned mutating wind of DEATH.

It stopped though, so I left to get more food and look for more ways to get money.

Kill innocent bystanders and rape and pillage various hobbit folk.

Duh. I mean, this IS a video game.

Also, this game has obtained my interest. I better not play tonight though, or I might end up staying up to long.

Wait wait... Why can I ask the little girl to marry me? Uh oh.
You can do that with anything, even your pet snail as long as the impress stats is high enough.

And you can have kids with it and then play the game as the resulting abomination...

That's the good part, even.

There's a new version up on the game's homepage.

Not sure what's been changed, however.

I didn't see any mention of a break in save compatibility, granted, my saves can't be transferred as I deleted my old copy and forgot to (well, didn't care enough to.) back them up.

The last 'break' in such i saw, was simply that there wasn't some kind of nemesis data saved in old saves, but they'd still work.

Make an Elona 114v3 folder, copy your saves across, then if you find for some reason it DOES break save compatibility, you won't risk losing anything.

Man, caught in by the Etherwind again... Right as I was taking Sasha to get some equipment too.

I hope I have enough food...
