Hey, how did I miss a roguelike topic? And one I have never heard of no less?

Anyway this looks very interesting, more like an adventurer sim from the looks of it rather then a standard roguelike. Now only if I could mod a new race in...

Yes, Sniper Joe, somehow I think this particular roguelike is right up your alley.

I highly suggest giving it a shot. There's no permadeath (but there is a penalty) so it's pretty easy to get it into, and it's also a ton of fun. You're right, it's more of an adventurer sim than a roguelike I suppose.

A quest just gave me a scythe as a reward. I spent 300 to have it identified but it wasn't enough, so I spent 5000 on an investigation and it's a blessed bronze scythe of lightning. It's monstrously powerful compared to what I had. It decapitates! With lightning bolts.

So don't drink from the wells anymore, my male character just got pregnant from drinking the water....

Oh god. Oh... oh god, you're in some serious trouble. I won't spoil it. Look it up on the wiki, and dear god, pray there's time.

Well I'm more referring to why he said it's right up my alley... It's a roguelike so I was gonna give it a few plays anyway, in fact searching for more roguelikes was how I found DF in the first place. No permadeath seems odd to me though, as I am more used to Permadeath then I am to normal save and load gameplay.

The death penalty can be pretty harsh, but you can continue indefinitely. You also have the option of not continuing if you'd like to be hardcore.

He probably said so because the game is pretty depraved at times, and your [SPHERE is :DEPRAVED].

Also, you could presumably gene engineer human arms and legs onto frogs and create an army of keronians. Sounds tricky though.

It DOES sound like something I would enjoy... I wonder if by doing that Gene splicing thing if I can make Convincing Keronians... If not I could always ask the person making it if he can open it more to modding... If he takes suggestions that is.

Oh my, I missed that part... That sounds hillarious!

But no, birthing ailens is not my thing. I would rather do other things to them...

Naughty things...

Well I more meant in general. Like the other Ailen from ailen, you know the one I bet.

Keronians and the Komato and Tassen are also pretty sexy. And don't get me started on the Vux...

Uhh... Attempting to re-rail this, heh. This is pretty fun so far, I like how the House is customizable. Though I have no idea where I got all the wood and bricks from to make that little shed I built in the cave.

Edit: And some dumb motherfucker just gave me nearly a thousand gold and a platinum piece for bringing him some bones... Jesus Christ what an idiot.

Edit again: Wait wait... Why can I ask the little girl to marry me? Uh oh.

You can do that with anything, even your pet snail as long as the impress stats is high enough.
