Pets are good.
Evasion is better then Defense.
Guns are good.
Magic sucks.
You will die.
Pets are good.

Speaking of pets I was reading a book, and all of a sudden got a little sister as a pet, she grew up later on. Also when I tried using a leash on her I got this message.

I'm not sure what that means. ???

Most of the stuff has already been mentioned in the first few pages, but theres somethign I believe I didnt read yet. It's mindnumbingly boring and probably a stupid idea, but I think it helped me.

Mind you, I cannot get myself to play anything else than a machinegunning goblin farmer, thats just the way I tick. Problem is... I have to get the firearms skill first (and I'd like the marksman skill too, please) AND rely on a shitty perception stat. So if you try to pick a class that has actual strengths (that maybe even overlap and create synergetic effects) you might actually benefit from it.

Anyways, what I did... was... dig the rooms in my home.  I dont use the design board to draw floor and walls, no, I travel to vernis, get a shitload of food and if possible a good bed/sleeping bag, and then travel back home. Stuff the food in the freezer and drop everything thats slowing me down.

Then I just cave out the whole area. (And then use the design board to put some walls in there.
Remember, goblins starts with mining proficiency, so in the long run you actually gain quite some CON and therefor HP from it. I think.

Oh wait, I have A REAL TIP TOO!
whenever you get a potion of cure corruption / mutation (you get one of the first if you follow the main quest for a wee bit) STORE IT SOMEWHERE FRIGGIN SAFE.

1) its too easy to sell it in a hurry, and buying it back costs a fortune, a kidney, your firstborn and your wife.
2) I THINK some (magic) attacks can shatter potions in your inventory.

So, again, keep some of the basic medicine at home (maybe even a small number of "remove curse" scrolls, just to be sure?)

Oh, and a bottle of poison / dye ALSO counts as equally important - you'll need one when you get impregnated by aliens, and it WILL happen sooner or later.

omg thats a shitload of charisma in that pic ^^

according to the message on aforementioned pic and considering the bad translation as well as the general weirdness of the game, I'd estimate, you UNleashed her, which she doesnt like, because she actually enjoyed being degraded by you.

Female Fairy Pianist hooker. Lvl7, and only with two deaths, course it's like I was suppose to know that lvl5 dungeon would always gen two rooms full of shield wielding bastards!

*sigh*

Anyway I've gotten a decent amount of equipments, along with 7LB.

So.. basically we're battling who is playing the weaker class  :P

edit: and what's 7lb? If its some robot companion i can get... dont spoil it

oh and something else... if youre a lvl7 pianist, youre not a lvl7 FIGHTER. so id probable think twice and then some before entering a lvl5 dungeon. But hey, at least the game warns you and tells you about dungeon difficulty

I've only got 21Hp XD

My magic is decent from what I get from quests, although my mighty silver shiruken is what dose the brunt of my damage. Also anyone know where to get lockpicks for free? They always break on me. :-\

They are dropped as random loot and sold in general stores sometimes. My high level warrior has over 200 stashed.

The other way is the Thieves Guild. You can join it, or you will need a scroll of incognito to disguise yourself, and then teleport the guard away from the entrance. Then go in and buy the lockpicks before your spell expires.

When your lockpicking skill is low, don't bother trying to open the high level chests. If it's a heavy chest, ignore it... if it's a light one, haul it back home and stash it for later. Instead of wasting your money and lockpicks on practice chest, visit dungeons and open all the locked doors. You get free lockpicking training without using lockpicks.

I've heard that there is a moongate full of locked doors.

If you get a wand of make door, or a spell of it, it creates locked doors you can unlock for skill. There are also safes in various towns that you can unlock for some ores and gold and the rare small medal.

When he said 7lbs he means he has 7 pounds of equipment. Fairies can only wear up to 1 pound a slot but they get insane DV from it. Early game you are incredibly hard to hit like that.

The text your little girl gave you was flavor text and sheer Japanese perversion. Oh you can get up to 40 base Charisma with some of the extra races. Small armies make dungeons easy and you don't gain xp rapidly.

Is there any way to stop getting cursed while asleep?

As for advice, just start as a juere archer, make sure your meele weapon causes bad stats (chaos damage i good) and fire away. Artifact ammo is much cheeper than weapons anyway.

All you have to do past that is get the firearms skill and just train marksman (ver 1.14) until you get it.

I think using high quality (blessed if possible) beds/sleeping bags help.
Having the luck feat helps.

having cursed items in your inventory or vincinity is really counterproductive.

I got in on a high quality bed... all these measures are preventative but not failsafe. Not to mention that the two scrolls I read didn't remove said curse, and I don't have any holy water to bless the damn thing.
