Any idea how to get the 'z' quick menu to work? The icons come up, but pressing the corresponding direction key on the numpad does exactly nothing, while pressing any other key switches to some sort of attack mode.

The z quick menu always work for me.

Is your Numlock on? Elona by default turns it off for you. Maybe you accidentally turned it back on?

I tried both settings. I also tried switching from German to US keyboard layout and back, no difference in behaviour.

Do you play fullscreen or windowed?

I play windowed, but I tried fullscreen before and that's working too.

The king kindly gave me a cursed potion of cure corruption as a reward...

Apparently you can't uncurse stuff other than equipment in 1.14, so I guess I should just sell the thing (worth a few grand even if cursed it seems)? What is the effect of cursed potions?

Vanish Curse scrolls removes curses from everything, don't they?

Yeah, I believe they do. Also, can't you drop the potion onto an altar to uncurse/bless it? Or drop a potion of water on an altar to get a potion of holy water, and then mix that to get a blessed potion of cure corruption? I can't remember if I ever tried using holy water with another potion, but I'm pretty sure it will work.

@ Vaiolis: Altars only bless potions of water... which you can then mix with the cursed potion, as you mentioned. Most potions aren't worth un-cursing though.

A question from me: How do you defeat the minotaur king (in the Major General quest)? I checked the wiki, it carries an axe that deals 1d70 damage with max critical hit chance modifier. My character has nearly 300 HP and over 200 PV, but still got KO'ed in one hit.

Get a laser gun with time stop ammo and use The Diablo. Between the two you should be able to get a dozen rounds unopposed and afterwards just snipe with the laser gun. Unless its faster then you just stay away and keep shooting and let your pets melee.

Ustxu Iceraped the Frigid Crystal of Slaughter was a glacier titan. It was the only one of its kind. A gigantic feathered carp composed of crystal glass. It has five mouths full of treacherous teeth, enormous clear wings, and ferocious blue eyes. Beware its icy breath! Ustxu was associated with oceans, glaciers, boats, and murder.

I'm using Diablo already, but I was training my bow skill so I left my time stop laser guns at home - I completely forgot about them! I'll try that, thanks.

Time stop laser guns? Why do you throw that around as a plural, where are you people getting these multiple Lasers which stop time, hell, I've never found one, even on Brill.
