I'm not sure how much of a bonus you get toward stats from your parents, but the most obvious advantage is using a heir trunk beforehand to give your heir all of your fancy items.

I'm torn between "making a gene" with Vene (Little girl) Or one of my machine infantry. I really don't know what it will affect.

Well having -45 karma at lvl 4 sucks. Anyone know a good way to increase it?

Two options, die to guards. (+10 to karma because you are under level 6) Or take some jobs in Derphy.

I'm lvl 5 and a guard killing me does nothing but mutilate me.

I've already done an incarnate. It's nothing really all that special, you just roll a new character and none of your stats pass on. It's mostly just to get your old items on a new character but unless you've got some insane stuff it's not really worth the hassle.

Interestingly, Armok's name actually originates from arm_ok, a variable in one of Toady's earlier games that kept track of how many of your arms weren't missing.

I have been but I don't think all the prostitution is helping my karma. On the plus side though I'm now extremely rich...

Wait, let me get this straight.

You can become rich by selling yourself to sexual favors?
I need to play this game.

Just wanted to make a note of this in case anyone cared for it, but when creating a character, and rolling your stats, you can find the value for strength, perception, etc. by searching for the stat * 3906.25

Doesn't always work, since it rounds, so search for the numbers near that.

For instance, if you rolled and got 5 strength, you would use cheat engine (or any of those) and search for 5*3906.25, or 19531.25, and since it rounds, check 19532 and 19531, maybe 19533, to locate and edit it.

Hey does anyone know why my stats randomly decrease for a while then pop back up. I'm not wearing anything cursed and no mutations. I've got 18 dexterity but my base is 25.

Incarnating is playing as an heir of one of your other characters. Get a spouse, and "make a gene," hehe.

Ugh, but that requires Charisma. Is there an easier way to woo the ladies? (Or male-ies)

Engagement amulets and rings. They are practically free and boost relationship by a great amount. Moyer the crooked in Noyel sells a lot of jewelry.

I think it's a vastly amusing thought that elephants are so afraid of heights that when Dwarves invented the Z-axis, they couldn't bear to face dwarves in combat anymore.

1. Mix with food.

2. Hand food to sweet little girl

3. *Removed for content*

Moongates seems a tad glitchy. I once went in one and did indeed find 100 rods of wishing. Unfortunately it crashed my game.

You can't pick up items in moongates, it would make the game boring and people would just make moongates with every good item ever and the game would stop being fun.
