Author Topic: [40d] Kitten (Tame) cancels Store Item in Stockpile: Too injured.  (Read 947 times)

I got this message on my game. It is not modified. The kitten is NOT injured in any way. It is 100% health and moving around normally like a cat. This is during Spring of my first year. The kitten has a name, Tosid Cattensiknug.

I also notice that it is carrying two-legged rhino lizard Remains. But the kitten is still at full, white health.

Its because of people like you that when I had this problem (ie right now) I cant fnid the original topic to see if there are any ways of stopping it or workarounds. It's bugging the crap out of me and when I search the bug report forums all I get is loads of threads that are answered like "learn to search"

Can we make it protocol when you are telling people there is already a thread for this that we actually link the original thread in question? no one does this. I would but I can't find it ><

Edit: sorry to the OP this sounds more hostile than was intended. I am just frustrated because of the spam and no way to make it go away.

I'm sorry I posted a duplicate topic, but you have no excuse to be rude to a random person that isn't aware of such a problem. I was happy to have found a bug that I thought could be reported.

It is encouraged that you search both the bugs list and the bug forum before posting. I was frustrated at all the other people that don't follow the other procedure of making things easier for searchers to find what they are looking for by linking the original topic in any duplicates.

People should be told to search prior to posting. Getting angry at people who genuinely want to just file a bug report, however, is not the right way to do things.

Interesting, you are right, it only says to search the actual documented bugs list not the forum. This problem doesn't seem to be on the list yet. Give it a few hours hopefully someone will link to the first bug report and we can see what is happening with it

This is reported so often it should be stickied until it's fixed just to cut down on some spam, hopefully.  Preferrably with a link to the wiki page for fixing it.

It's bug 1021 and it does say to search this sub-forum in the instructions.  I'll set up a sticky in a bit.
