I've tried a few graphic sets, but I've always come back to the regular old Dystopian Rhetoric, which I still use, but it's no longer being maintained. What does everyone else use? This list was gleamed from http://dwarf.lendemaindeveille.com/index.php/List_of_user_graphics_sets

I always found tilesets of any variety to just look awkward. I much prefer just plain ascii.

Mayday all the way...day.

Not just because of the nifty dwarf graphics, but also because it includes a nice fontset, so my modded stuff looks...  crisper somehow.

I like sphr's, but i found i had to go through and edit the raws that are supplied with them, certain creatures are assigned to the wrong graphics for some reason, also some sets seem to have incorrect values which stretch the images, for ages i was trying to figure out why all my ogres seemed like half an ogre.

I personally use Kai's. (a 1280x400 tileset, btw). I tried other ones, didn't quite like them as much. I think it was redone multiple times, though - potentially one of its remakes is on the list.

Sphr's for me. His sprites have a 16-bit charm to them that's irresistible.

 I may not know the difference between graphic and tilesets, but bear with me now: I always liked the look of the diagional corners used in the bee fortress. Who made that exactly?

 Please excuse my ignorance on the subject, I care little for non-vanilla graphics.

Looks like the majority are running Mayday or none at all, though Dys has a respectable portion of the vote. Dys's stuff is nice too - didn't you contribute some to the Mayday pack, Dys, or does my memory just suck?

Yeah, I looked and he credits you, but as the "pioneer of DF graphics", not for any particular sprites, so I dunno.  Still, your set's nice too, I just like Mayday's 'cause it's nice and integrated and whatnot.
