more or less

the only thing this deatmetal has in common with normal deathmetal is that it might cause a ringing sound in his ears when it hits him

Three ones in a row? Thats a 1 in 216 chance IIRC.

I increase the intensity of my flames, attempting to ward off Akroma's death metal.

Yeah, but all combinations of 3 have a 1 in 216 chance.
4, 6, 2 has a 1 in 216 chance, for example.

Edit: Also, since he's rolling more than 3 rolls, it has a more than 1 in 216 chance. It's only 1 in 216 chance if he only rolls 3 rolls.

The thing that was undesirable was rolling a one, he rolled three times to see if any other number came up:

P(three ones)=1 in 216
P(one other number)=5 in 6 + 5 in 6 + 5 in 6

I'm just talking about my roll. If you factor in the other ones it gets too complicated.

I shall use my new telekinetic powers to create a stone golem body for myself.

Technically, it'd be 5/6 + 1/6 * 5/6 + 1/6 * 1/6 * 5/6, since, if the first roll was a 1, I'd reroll, along with the second roll.

It should equal 180/216 + 30/216 + 5/216, which is equal to 215/216 because any other combination of rolls would not have given all three 1s (because 1/6 * 1/6 * 1/6 = 1 1 1, and it's only possible in 1 out of the 6 sides).

Alright, using my healing powers, I try to 'enhance' everybody nearby, healing wounds and boosting their health, strength and fatigue.

Also! Can I get this action in before Cheetar? I'd like to get him a buff before he goes into the treehouse, rather than afterwards.

I see. Well, the chances of three ones when rolling three times is still very low.

I am starting to understand why I didn't ace the maths tests though :P

I'll try to transcend from whatever the man is keeping me in, and hopefully posess his body in the process.

They're not too bad. I'm just procrastinating on a lot of stuff. Like this. And my English paper. I'll get it done soon. I mean, I already did about half of it...
