Ya stum or Yastum is I am, gwodney is hungry. Like all good ethnic grandmothers, my babcia lives by the catchphrase, "too thin, too thin, eat eat!"

Man, I feel like a dope.  I don't even speak English all that well, though I have a better grasp of British English that a Texan has a right to.

If you throw some Spanish at me I'll get the gist of it, and if you give me a minute and a dictionary I'll give you a response.  Beyond that, I'm wasted.

Don't worry Aquizzar, we can be mediocre together.

Bahasa Indonesia (mother languange) Baso Minang (West Sumatera, not really fluent) Arabic (not understand the words THAT well) Japanese (only a few, trying to study it) Javanese (Can understand few words) Malayu (It's the same as Bahasa Indonesia)... and, English, of course. I'm really fluent in TEXT English, but when I pronounce it, I lose.

Croatian is my native language, I speak English fairly well, and I can understand German, but I'm completely incapable of forming a grammatically correct sentence in it.

I speak a teensy, teensy bit of French, but not to the point where I could have any kind of conversation.

English, obviously, though not as fluently as I used to (hey, three years ago I knew what bourgeoisie meant, just the other day I had to go look it up; and yes, I am aware bourgeoisie is French).

A small amount of Japanese, but it's spotty to the point where I can only speak one or two sentences. Like, "Kore-wa empitsu desu?" (Is this a pencil?).

I never cared enough to memorize the alt codes for accented letters.

You don't need an alt code.

Y'know the upper number row thingy, with the numbers and stuff?
In the right end of it there's a small button with only two thingies on it, ´ and `.
If you press the button and the, say, e, you get é. If you press shift, button, e, you get è.
Similarly, right below The Button is another button, with ^¨~. We shall call it the Second Button.

Second Button + e = ë
Shift + SB + e = ê

And so on.

And so on.

That's only european keyboards apparently, mine has no function to get special characters other than alt-number.

And to be sure, this is the kind of keyboard I have, and you can tell just by looking there's really no special button to press.

I speak English fluently and I understand most French that I read, if someone speaks slowly a clearly to me in French then I can normaly understand, although the chances of a French person speaking slowly and clearly are low. As for speaking French, well despite having had both lessons and holidays in France since a very young age I am still very sucky at speaking it, I know a lot of words but often by the time I remember what the French for the word I wanted was the conversation has been over for 10 minutes.
