not sure how safe/reliable this site is but if it lives up to its tout it could be kinda cool...

the only thng i have downloaded from the mother site does not work but the site did acknowledge their failure to deliver...for what that's worth.  has anyone had good result from the game portion of the site?

Dig a mine, keep it from flooding, and sell gold, oil, and other misc. rocks.
You can build a pretty darn large mining town in the sandbox mode if you have enough time and you don't mess up. ;)
hmmm... what else do I remember about it...
-You can build explosives from sulfer.
-Power is generated from windmills and coal power plants.
-Power is connected with electrical lines.
-Electricity can be used to power drills, elevators, and oil pumps.
-There's a multiplayer mode, where you try and blow each other up.
-There are various creeps, like dinosaurs and sharks.
-Fish can be sold for $$$
-The water physics are decent, but there's no water pressure.
-The controls can be a bit clunky.
-100% destructible terrain, pixel based

I like Clonk, but the tendency of the terrain to turn into Swiss cheese, combined with the "clonky" controls is a bit of a turnoff.  Incredible expansions and stuff, though.

I played an "arctic" expansion where you try to survive on icebergs, catch fish and build igloos... It was very cool.
Also there was a magical mod I haven't played yet, it has dragons and fireballs for multiplayer pwnage (=win) :).

Nice one, but you didn't get me.

Yeah i watched the videos because the puzzle wouldnt fit on my laptop screen/When i used the mouse wheel to scroll, it would fail me.

Yes, roleplaying is enforced and if you want to do a quest you have to type in commands like "Hello fine sire, how may I help you?" to npcs.
