Wow, some nice games here.

Here's one for those on the move:  http://www.zincland.com/powder .

It's the only roguelike other than DF I play currently, because it fits neatly into my GBA. No detailed stuff for creatures like DF has, but a good amount of nice features nevertheless. Quiver markup, emptypotiongrenades, chance for player or creatures to be left-handed, some straightforward stuff like blasting through a few levels down with a wand of digging, etc.

About Woods of Torbin, I emailed the fellow who programmed it, and here's what I got:

Thank you for your email, I guess I should update the website ;-)  The short answer is that the game is in a deep freeze, every few months I have wild dreams about working on it again but I don't seem to have the time any more.

Here is the story:

After the first attempt (the working copy that you can download from the website) I gave up for a while, then when I found time again I decided to put in more effort and even had a friend help me work on it. However, after a few months of good work my friend ended up just demotivating me and leaving me with a very good rewrite attempt but nothing that I could put up on a website and that would work properly.

I do "plan" to work on it again some day, but it has been a long time.

Cheers,
Konstantin (aka "Kostatus")

So it seems there is a chance it will be continued, someday.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but I really think dwarf fortress would benefit from a more ascii sector UI.
I like the way the little boxes pop up, although with dwarf fortresses intensely awesome and long winded battle texts, that could be a problem.
I also kinda wish, perhaps as you become more skilled, you could target a part of the body with a weapon.

The UI and the archery targeting is planned, however I really doubt the combat system will be altered/removed though. I at least hope not.

That battleships game looks very cool...but yamo was born w/o thumbs(and in the third person-much to the chagrin of yamo the elder who was born in the subjunctive.)

I used to play Wyvern, it was one of my favorites, and was down for over a year until early this year.  I quit when I realized the admins were egotistical psychopaths who blatantly favored certain players.
